Recently, VPS, a wiki of VPS encyclopedia, was very slow to connect without any reason, and also very slow to go abroad. I thought it was caused by the VPS line draft, so I switched to another one. I haven't paid much attention to it.

But Lao Tie in the Wikigroup said that this is a public DNS problem in 1.1.1.1. It would be better to replace it with something else.

So the VPS encyclopedia was changed, and the result was really good. This website has changed to Google's public DNS: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4.

If the same problem occurs, you can solve it yourself. Here is a record of the VPS encyclopedia's solution process.

1、 Hard link to wiki VPS

The VPS encyclopedia has been connected for many times, and finally connected. Then check the public DNS by default, and execute the command: cat /etc/resolv.conf

The result shows that it is indeed 1.1.1.1, that is, CLOUDLARE's.

2、 Compile /etc/resolv.conf

Edit it directly and change it to Google's public DNS: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4.

After modification, restart directly systemctl restart NetworkManager.service or reboot Restart the system to take effect.

I tried again, but the speed was normal when I connected it. It was really wonderful.
