In the process of comprehensively and thoroughly implementing the Law on Rural Revitalization and Promotion, the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region actively explored practice, seized the key links, gave play to the leading role of the People's Congress in legislation, and formulated the Regulations on Rural Revitalization and Promotion of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which came into force on March 1 this year.
In September this year, the 35th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th People's Congress of the Autonomous Region passed the Regulations of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Food Security and Guarantee, which will be implemented on November 1, 2022. This is an important legal and institutional guarantee for the autonomous region to ensure food production, maintain food circulation order, and achieve the modernization of food security and guarantee.
With the promulgation of a series of regulations, at present, our region has initially formed a local regulatory system that is led by the autonomous region's rural revitalization promotion regulations and supported by relevant laws and regulations to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, comprehensively promote rural revitalization, and accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
