What is MIP cache?

MIP cache: Mip cache is a proxy based CDN cache system. It can be used to cache all MIP pages referenced by Baidu related pages or listed from Baidu related service points.

When accessing a mip page, users will first request MIP cache. Due to the special architecture of MIP cache, when the data does not exist in the cache, they will go online to grab the webmaster's page and return it to the user. There are two failure situations in this process:

1. Failed to crawl: When the stability of the site itself has problems and the page is not stored in the cache, the cache will fail to grab the original site. After the failure, the cache will try to jump to the original page (non mip page).
2. Verification failed: the cache will verify the captured page according to the mip specification. If the captured page does not meet the mip specification, it will also jump to the original page (non mip page)

Authkey: When the webmaster needs to urgently clean some page caches, it can do so through the interface provided by MIP cache. To ensure the security of the MIP cache system, the webmaster should first apply for the Authkey. When initiating the request for cleaning the cache, the user should verify the permissions. Only after the site and Authkey submitted by the user are verified successfully can the update operation be executed.
