The ZEISS ScanBox 5 series of non-contact industrial 3D laser scanner is a one-stop solution for automatic detection and digital processing of complex parts. This powerful 3D measurement system can provide global measurement results for CAD comparison in a short time, visualize GD&T deviation, and accelerate production, maintenance and repair processes. The system can be used to quickly acquire specific measurement features and geometric shapes, such as surface and edge points, holes or holes.

Quality assurance of mass production

The three-dimensional scanner ZEISS ScanBox 5 series three-dimensional laser scanning measuring instrument optimizes your batch inspection process and provides support for quality control in the production process. Standardized and automated processes can increase the output of parts and reduce waste products. Through real-time trend analysis, ZEISS ScanBox 5 ensures the stability of the process flow and quickly identifies the changes in production.

ZEISS ScanBox 5 series provides three models and a variety of configuration options. Users can customize according to their own needs, which is what we call the new modular concept. The system is composed of several standardized independent modules, and users can expand and upgrade on the basis of the original system. The maximum bearing capacity of the rotary table module is up to 2000 kg.

Ergonomic operation design

The new flexible lifting platform is ergonomically designed to better support users' daily work. The telescopic arm built in the electronic switch cabinet can be lifted and rotated to the required height, so that the operator can operate ZEISS ScanBox 5 series standing or sitting.

Tailored for airfoil detection

ZEISS ScanBox 5110 is specially designed for airfoil detection. ATOS 5 for Airfoil is specially developed for the gas turbine industry. Its working distance is shorter, and its measurement range is 100 x 70 mm ², providing high-precision three-dimensional data with minimal details. The overall blade disk scanning can be completed within one hour, and a turbine blade scanning can be completed within a few minutes.

Optical batch measurement

ZEISS ScanBox 5, an automated 3D scanner, is specially developed for batch inspection and can be directly used in the production environment. The measurement program is automated to ensure the repeatability of 3D measurement data of the same parts. You can create measurement programs for testing in the Virtual Measurement Room (VMR) of GOM Inspect Pro software. The robot is completely controlled by software and moves continuously along the measuring position. The change of CAD data status or inspection plan can be quickly updated through the parameterization performance of the software. The whole operation process is convenient and fast, and the operator can operate easily.

Virtual Measurement Room (VMR) is the central control and measurement planning software for all components of ScanBox. In VMR, the real measurement environment will be simulated, that is, the functions of robots, measuring heads and parts in the measurement unit. Program the robot movement path, fixture and measurement plan. VMR can automatically execute measurement programs without requiring users to have special robot programming skills. Before being officially put into use in the actual environment, all robot movements will be simulated and checked to ensure safety.

Probe compatibility

ATOS measuring head provides global 3D coordinates for each measurement. 12 million independent measurement points can be collected in just a few seconds. Therefore, the measurement data has a high degree of detail restoration, and even very small part features can be easily restored.
