PONTOS Live Introduction

On line photography mobile 3D optical measurement system for tracking and detection

PONTOS Live is GOM's tracking, positioning and measuring system, which is used to position components, accurately calibrate CNC machine tools or adjust fixtures.

In combination with GOM probes, PONTOS Live can detect areas that are difficult to reach.

Based on the principle of triangulation measurement, PONTOS Live can analyze parts of different sizes from several millimeters to several meters point by point, regardless of the material.

PONTOS Live characteristic

Stereo camera

The stereo camera system can provide accurate 3D coordinates of the reference point. Each preset and verified lens is integrated into the industrial housing to ensure the high stability of the calibration of the measuring head. Users can easily change the measurement volume to measure objects of different sizes.

Instant function

Through the real-time function, online measurement and online positioning can be carried out. In online measurement, combined with GOM probe and GOM adapter, each component can be calibrated and positioned according to CAD.

GOM probe

GOM probe is a tactile sensing accessory that can be tracked optically by the measurement system. It is used for tactile measurement and coordinate measurement of hard to reach areas.

GOM adapter

GOM adapter provides extended functions for on-site real-time measurement, such as component positioning or measuring geometric elements and edges.

GOM Inspect Professional Evaluation function

The assessment and analysis tools of GOM Inspect Professional software can be fully applied to PONTOS Live. Ensure the process reliability and traceability of all elements through the parametric method developed by GOM.
