Beijing Island refers to three small islands - Wutou, Shanxin and Weidao, the only place where the Jing people live, which are often collectively referred to as "the three islands of the Jing people". It is located in the south of Jiangping Town, Dongxing Development Zone, Fangchenggang City, facing the sea.
The three islands were originally separated, but now the beaches and straits between the three islands have been filled up and connected with the inland. Wanwei Island, the largest of the three islands, borders Pearl Harbor in the east, Beibu Gulf in the south, and Vietnam across the sea in the west. There are roads connecting Dongxing. The completed Jingdao Resort covers an area of 13.7 square kilometers. This is a subtropical marine climate zone, with an average annual temperature of about 22 ℃ and an average annual sunshine of more than 2100 hours. The island is densely wooded, warm in winter and cool in summer, with fresh sea breeze and fresh air. Weidao has a long causeway around the island, which is a stone masonry concrete structure with a height of 2 meters, a width of 2 meters, and a length of 8 nautical miles. It is arched around most of the island shore facing the sea. It is a solid barrier against the erosion of the shore land by the sea waves, and also a solid barrier for residential buildings on the island. Young tropical trees have been planted on the embankment. Walking on it, you will find yourself in the forest, sand and water. It is interesting to return to nature.
The west of Weidao Island is connected to the south of Wutou Island, with an area of about 25 square kilometers. It is named after the golden sand. The golden beach is fine in sand, pure in color, gentle in slope and spread out flat, like a golden blanket floating on the blue sea. Moreover, the sea water is pollution-free and the water temperature is moderate. It is a place worth traveling.
