Mancheng Han Tomb is a national AAAA level scenic spot and a national key cultural relics protection unit. It is located on the Lingshan Mountain, 1.5 kilometers southwest of the center of Mancheng County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. Mancheng Han Tomb Scenic Spot has now been included in the urban area. The Manchu Han Tomb is the tomb of Liu Sheng, King Jing of Zhongshan, and Douwan, Queen of Zhongshan in the Western Han Dynasty. In May 1968, a certain department of the People's Liberation Army accidentally found it during the national defense construction here. With the instructions of Premier Zhou Enlai, the famous archaeologist Guo Moruo came to the site for textual research and guided the excavation. Liu Sheng's Tomb and Douwan's Tomb are carved on the east side of the main peak of Lingshan Mountain. The two tombs are 120 meters away and 40 meters away from the peak.
Mancheng Han Tomb is one of the major archaeological discoveries in China in the last century. It is the cliff tomb with the largest scale, the most complex structure, the best preservation, the most unearthed cultural relics and high research value found in China at present. It is known as "the best cliff tomb in the world". The tomb is composed of six parts, namely, the tomb passage, the corridor, the north and south ear chamber, the middle chamber and the back chamber. It is well preserved. There are abundant funerary objects, 10633 cultural relics unearthed, hundreds of precious cultural relics of Chinese treasure level, more than 2000 pieces of various bronzes, 19 pieces of various copper lamps, and more than 500 pieces of ancient weapons, especially the "gold thread jade clothing", "Changxin palace lantern", and "gold inlaid Boshan furnace" "Rosefinch Ring Cup", "Bronze pot with dragon pattern" It is the most precious and can be called a rich underground museum. The "golden thread jade dress" is the first complete jade dress discovered in China, which has been exhibited in many countries. Therefore, Manchuria is known as the "hometown of golden thread jade dress".
"Changxin Palace Lantern", known as "China's first lamp", was selected for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo together with the "gold inlaid Boshan Furnace". The pictures and text introduction of "Golden Thread Jade Clothes" and "Changxin Palace Lantern" have been incorporated into the history textbook of middle school. In particular, Mancheng Han Tomb is famous for the most exquisite cultural relics unearthed. Among thousands of Han Tombs, Mancheng is the only cliff tomb".
There are a total of 21 tombs in the Han tombs in Manchuria, all built on the Lingshan Mountain. In addition to Liu Sheng's tomb (No. 1 tomb) and Douwan's tomb (No. 2 tomb), which have been excavated and opened to tourists, there are also No. 3 tombs and 18 accompanying tombs that have not been excavated. The Mausoleum Mountain where the Manchu Han Tomb is located was called Phoenix Mountain in ancient times. It is a lonely mountain. It borders the Taihang Mountain eight hundred miles to the west and the North China Plain thousands of miles to the east. It is composed of three connected peaks. The main peak lies in the middle and lies high. The peaks on both sides are located on the east side of the main peak, 50 meters shorter than the main peak. They are symmetrical at the north and south ends, and are arranged in the shape of "pin", just like a series of master's chairs facing east from west.
