The Supreme People's Court: the tourism consumption lawsuit is concluded on the spot

On the 2nd, the Supreme People's Court issued a notice to the national courts, requiring them to promote the convenience of the people's courts and try cases involving the rights and interests of consumers and tourists by means of itinerant handling.

The notice requires that the basic people's court may, according to the local actual situation, conduct regular or irregular itinerary to handle cases, file cases on the spot, hear cases on the spot, mediate and close cases on the spot in tourist attractions, fairs and other places where disputes involving the legitimate rights and interests of tourists, consumers and other vital interests of the people are likely to occur. Efforts should be made to increase the rate of closing cases in court, resolve social conflicts and disputes in a timely manner, protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties in accordance with the law, improve the effectiveness of legal publicity and education, and maintain normal market order.

It was reported that the Supreme People's Court, in order to implement the 23 specific measures of justice for the people proposed at the National High Court President's Symposium in August, sent a notice to the people's courts at all levels of the country on February 2, proposing specific guidance. The above provisions are one of the guidelines proposed in the notice.
