What functions does InCopy have?

With InCopy, copywriters and editors can design text styles, track changes, and make simple layout modifications to documents, while designers can simultaneously process the same document in Adobe InDesign CC – without overwriting each other's documents.

Now, you can browse thousands of fonts provided by hundreds of casting lines through InCopy, and then you can quickly activate them and use them in your documents. The Font panel contains a variety of new options to provide you with a rich experience when using fonts. You can apply filters to specifically view recently added fonts. You can also select sample text from the predefined text list for font preview; Or you can select your own text. In addition, you can now choose to change the font size when previewing the font.

OpenType SVG font support

With InCopy's support for OpenType SVG fonts, you can now reflect multiple colors and gradients in a single font.

By using OpenType SVG emoji fonts, you can use colored and graphical characters in documents, such as emoticons, flags, road signs, animals, people, food and landmarks. You can also create compound glyphs. For example, when using EmojiOne font, you can create a flag for a country/region, or achieve color diversity in the font style.

Add footnotes to the table

You can now insert footnotes in InCopy's table. Footnote text appears at the bottom of the text frame.

The reference numbers of footnotes in the table will be continuous with those of footnotes in the corresponding article.

Table footnotes are retained when importing Word documents and when exporting to formats that support footnotes (for example, PDF, EPUB, and HTML).

Spacing between paragraphs with the same style

You can now choose whether the spacing before or after a paragraph affects text of the same style. The spacing between paragraphs in the style dialog box uses the same style options, allowing you to specify the spacing value between paragraphs of the same style. This value is only used when two consecutive paragraphs have the same paragraph style. If the paragraph styles of consecutive paragraphs are different, you can use the values of the Space Before and Space After options.

You can now convert endnotes to footnotes and footnotes to endnotes in InCopy.

Remember the previous export format

Now, each document remembers its last exported format. If you share a document with another user or access it from another computer, the document will remain in the format it was last exported in
