PowerDesigner was initially developed by Xiao Yun Wang (Wang Xiaoyun) in SDP Technologies. PowerDesigner is Sybase's enterprise modeling and design solution. It uses a model driven approach to combine business and IT, which can help deploy an effective enterprise architecture and provide powerful analysis and design technologies for R&D lifecycle management. PowerDesigner ingeniously integrates a variety of standard data modeling technologies (UML, business process modeling, and market leading data modeling), and NET, WorkSpace, PowerBuilder, Java ™, Eclipse and other mainstream development platforms are integrated to provide business analysis and standardized database design solutions for traditional software development cycle management.
