Ranking indicators

The academic rankings of soft science world universities are famous for the objectivity, transparency and stability of the evaluation methods, and all adopt internationally comparable objective indicators and third-party data, including the number of alumni and teachers who have won Nobel Prizes and Fields Prizes, the number of highly cited scientists, the number of papers published in Nature and Science, and the scientific citation index (SCIE) And Social Science Citation Index (SSCI).

Ranking performance

Harvard has been ranked No. 1 in the world for 21 consecutive years, Tsinghua is No. 1 in Asia, and Chinese universities are the most on the list!

Harvard University still holds the top position, ranking first in the world for 21 consecutive years, followed by Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, ranking second and third.

Among European universities, Cambridge University in the UK ranks fourth in the world, and Oxford University ranks seventh in the world, leading other universities in the European continent.

Among the universities in the Asia Pacific region, Tsinghua University surpassed the University of Tokyo in Japan, ranking 22nd in the world and first in Asia for the first time. The University of Tokyo in Japan ranked 27th.

Among the universities in Oceania, the University of Melbourne in Australia (35th) ranks first.

A total of 191 colleges and universities in mainland China were listed, 28 more than last year. For the first time in history, the number of colleges and universities listed in the United States exceeded 187, ranking first in the world. 10 of the Top 100: Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University, China University of Science and Technology, China University of Science and Technology, China University of Science and Technology CSU、 Nanda.
