Pneumatic components
What are pneumatic components? It is a kind of element that does work through the force generated by the pressure or expansion of gas, that is, the elastic energy of compressed air is converted into kinetic energy. Such as cylinder, pneumatic motor, steam engine, etc. Pneumatic component is a form of power transmission and also an energy conversion device, which uses gas pressure to transmit energy. Features of pneumatic components: 1. The pneumatic device is simple in structure, portable and easy to install and maintain. The medium is air, which is less flammable than hydraulic medium, so it is safe to use. 2. The working medium is inexhaustible air, and the air itself costs no money. The exhaust treatment is simple, does not pollute the environment, and has low cost. 3. The output force and working speed can be easily adjusted. The action speed of the cylinder is generally less than 1M/S, which is faster than that of hydraulic and electrical methods. 4. High reliability and long service life. The effective action times of pneumatic components are about one million times, while the service life of general solenoid valves is more than 30 million times, and some high-quality valves are more than 200 million times. 5. Utilize the compressibility of air to store energy and realize centralized gas supply. It can release energy in a short time to obtain high-speed response in intermittent movement. Buffer can be realized. It has strong adaptability to impact load and overload. Under certain conditions, the pneumatic device can have self holding capacity. 6. Full pneumatic control has the ability of fire prevention, explosion prevention and damp proof. Compared with hydraulic mode, pneumatic mode can be used at high temperature. 7. Compressed air can be supplied centrally and transported remotely. Maintenance method of pneumatic components: 1. Ensure the correct alternative air supply system: the air inlet pressure at the tool inlet (not the air outlet pressure of the air compressor) is generally 90PSIG (6.2Kg/cm ^ 2), too high or too low will damage the performance and life of the pneumatic components. The inlet air must contain sufficient lubricating oil so that the pneumatic motor in the tool can be fully lubricated (a white paper can be placed at the exhaust of the tool to check whether there is oil stain, which normally means there is oil stain). The intake air must be completely free of moisture, and it is inappropriate if the compressed air has not passed through the air dryer. 2. It is not allowed to operate after removing the parts of the tool arbitrarily, except that the safety of the operator will be affected and the tool will be damaged. 3. If the pneumatic component has a slight fault or cannot reach the original function after use, it can not be used any more and should be checked immediately. 4. When using various tools, be sure to follow various safety regulations and instructions. 5. Appropriate pneumatic components shall be selected for operation. Too large tools are likely to cause work injury, and too small tools are likely to cause damage to tools. 6. Check and maintain tools regularly (about once a week), add grease to the bearing and other rotating parts, and add oil to the pneumatic component motor.
