Q&Me: Vietnam video app user behavior survey report

Short video has become a well-known mobile application, and more and more app users are addicted to the use of short video. As one of the countries with large population in Southeast Asia, Vietnam? There is still much room for development in the short video market of. At present, the popular short video applications in this market include TikTok (overseas version) and Kwai (international version). Recently, Q&Me, a Vietnamese market research institute, conducted a survey on relevant video applications, as follows:

This survey compares three video applications in Vietnam: TikTok, Kwai and Instagram. It can be seen from the data in the above figure that the three video applications in March have a similar ranking in IOS, and they are basically at the front of the list. However, from April to May, the ranking of the two will have risen significantly and rank at the top of the list. At the same time, Instagram's ranking dropped significantly.

On the Android system, TikTok ranked prominently in March, and was far away from the other two applications. However, from April to May, Kwai's advantages also gradually emerged and surpassed TikTok. Instagram continues to decline.

However, more respondents use Instagram in this survey, and nearly 70% of respondents use or have used the application. In contrast, few respondents use TikTok and Kwai, and many respondents have not even heard of these two applications. About 63% of the respondents did not know about Kwai.

Among the respondents who use TikTok, 17% of them open the app every day, 9 percentage points higher than that of Kwai.

Similarly, 12% of the respondents who use TikTok are very satisfied with the application. Although there are many respondents using Instagram and many people open it every day, users' satisfaction with the app is relatively low, only 2 percentage points higher than that of TikTok.

Compared with the other two platforms, users of TikTok are more active in uploading videos and sharing applications with others.
