Baidu went online last November“ Baidu open source platform ”This platform is mainly used to display Baidu's open source projects.
At present, the platform lists 10 open source projects of Baidu, including:
Terminator : A server virtualization solution
Itest : Service interface oriented automated testing tool, which can be used for integration testing or system level testing
UEditor : A WYSIWYG rich text Web editor
ECharts : Based on Canvas, pure JavaScript chart library, which can be used to customize data visualization charts
ESUI : A set of simple UI Library, which provides a series of controls to meet the basic page interaction function
F.I.S : Full name of Front end Integrated Solution, a complete set of front-end technology solutions, including front end framework, template framework, automation framework and auxiliary development tools
EDP : An enterprise level front-end application development platform
EST : A style tool library based on LESS to help developers write LESS code more easily
ER : A rich browser end web application framework, which can easily build a whole station AJAX web application
Tangram : A practical JavaScript basic library, which can quickly build highly interactive Web applications
Cafe : An automated testing framework for Android platform, which covers various requirements of Android automated testing
Previously, Baidu's open source projects were hosted on Github, and they were team led and scattered. Now, the open source platform launched focuses on these projects, which shows that Baidu has begun to attach importance to open source at the company level.
Nowadays, domestic enterprises are investing more and more in open source, especially large Internet enterprises. These projects of large enterprises have basically been put into use in online products, and have been fully tested. After being released in the open source form, other developers can take it and use it, avoiding repeated manufacturing wheels. In addition, the life cycle of general large enterprise products is relatively long, so developers need not worry about the sudden disappearance of this project.
The three giants of BAT participate in open source（ Baidu open source platform 、 Ali open source project 、 Tencent open source project ）, which also has a good role in promoting the domestic open source ecology, allowing more people to understand and participate in open source.
