Recently, malicious leaks and false rumors about Xiaomi cars appeared in batches on the Internet. In this regard, we declare as follows:
On December 17, 2023, Bao XX, an employee of the media "ZAKER", and Guan XX, an employee of "Xiaobai Buying a Car", intentionally disclosed the confidential shooting content without permission when signing the Confidentiality Commitment, knowing the confidentiality obligations and corresponding penalties.
After verification by the confidentiality management team of Xiaomi Group, the above two people have admitted their breach of confidentiality obligations. Through communication with their media, we will hold them and their media accountable for leakage of secrets, including but not limited to public apology and fines, according to the corresponding provisions of the Confidentiality Commitment signed by both parties.
At the same time, Xiaomi Group verified that in November and December 2023, three former employees of Xiaomi Auto Department participated in the so-called "Xiaomi Auto Seminar" organized by external brokers and investment institutions without permission to collect "consulting fees" during their employment, fabricated and spread a large number of errors and untrue information, seriously misleading the market and disrupting the normal business development of Xiaomi Auto.
The above three employees, namely Yu XX (former employee of the electric control system and software team), Shi XX (former employee of the die casting process team) and Zhang XX (former employee of the mass production quality team), have seriously violated the Code of Conduct for Xiaomi Group Employees and the confidentiality obligations stipulated by the company. Xiaomi Group has dismissed them and will never hire them, and has investigated their legal responsibilities according to law. At the same time, Xiaomi Group reserves the right to investigate the legal responsibility of the securities dealers and investment institutions that organize relevant activities.
For malicious disclosure, malicious rumor making and rumor spreading, the Xiaomi Collective will be investigated in accordance with the law.
