Motion sensor with voice alarm using Arduino

Date: October 16, 2023 (Source: Internet)

Arduino is an open source electronic platform that can be used to build various projects, including UC3845BN Motion sensor. By combining Arduino's flexibility and voice module, we can create a system that can detect movement and issue voice alerts.

The following is a simple example project that shows how to use Arduino and the voice module to create a motion sensor with voice alerts:

Material Science:

1. Arduino development board

2. PIR motion sensor

3. Voice module

4. Buzzer

5. DuPont Line

6. Battery or power adapter

Step:

1. Connecting circuit:

Connect 5V pin of Arduino to VCC pin of voice module, and connect GND pin to GND pin of Arduino.

Connect the TX pin of the voice module to the digital pin 2 of Arduino.

Connect the positive pole of the buzzer to the digital pin 3 of Arduino and the negative pole to the GND pin.

Connect the VCC pin of the PIR sensor to the 5V pin of Arduino, the GND pin to the GND pin, and the OUT pin to the digital pin 4 of Arduino.

2. Write code:

Open the Arduino IDE and create a new project.

Import the library file of the voice module. You can find the library files and sample code suitable for your voice module on the Arduino official website or other resources.

Set the variables of buzzer pin and PIR sensor pin in the code.

Set the serial communication parameters of the voice module.

In the loop part of the code, the PIR sensor is used to detect motion. If movement is detected, a buzzer will be triggered to sound and a voice alarm will be sent through the voice module.

Upload the code to the Arduino development board.

3. Test:

Connect the power supply to the Arduino development board.

Wait a moment for the sensor to stabilize.

Move within the monitoring range of the sensor to check whether the movement can be correctly detected and send out the corresponding voice alarm.

This is just a sample project. You can modify and expand it according to your needs and the voice module you use. For example, you can add more sensors or adjust the content of voice alarms.

Summary:

By using Arduino and voice module, we can create a motion sensor system with voice alarm. This system can be used for home security, anti-theft alarm, pet monitoring and other applications. With Arduino's flexibility and programmability, we can customize and extend the system as needed to meet various needs.
