Dizi, an Iranian family dish

Dizi reminds us of Hungarian beef stew, but there is more work to be done. The main ingredients of the soup are lamb, chickpeas, tomatoes and potatoes, and then put them into a small pot and take them out. The traditional way to eat local food is to first fish out the meat, and then use large metal tools to mash the vegetables into a paste.

Whether you go through the whole process or just eat it as soup, it tastes good.
