IPLC IEPL MPLS is a different way of network transmission and communication. Because of the differences in business requirements and technical requirements, MPLS is usually applied to different scenarios. The following is the definition and application scenarios of IPLC, IEPL and MPLS summarized by Warner Cloud for your reference.

IPLC (international special line circuit):

Based on the traditional circuit switching technology, it is built on the physical circuit.

SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) or SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) and other technologies are usually used.

It is applicable to point-to-point dedicated line connection for data, voice and video transmission.

It provides reliable connection and low delay, and is suitable for applications requiring high stability and reliability of data transmission.

IEPL:

Based on Ethernet technology, Ethernet protocol is used to establish private network connection.

It provides high bandwidth and low latency communication, which is suitable for high-capacity data transmission and cloud computing.

It can establish point-to-point connection, and can also be used for point-to-point communication.

MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching):

It is a packet switching technology that uses labels to forward data packets, improving the transmission efficiency and flexibility of the network.

MPLS network can establish virtual private network and realize private communication on the basis of public network.

It provides packet level traffic engineering and quality of service (QoS) support, and is suitable for enterprise wide area network connections.

IPLC, IEPL and MPLS are terms in the field of network communication, which are mainly used for different types of transnational data communication services, and differ in technology, application and characteristics. How should we choose the network communication service that suits our needs? The following two points are mainly considered:

1、 Transmission requirements

When reliable point-to-point connection is required, IPLC is recommended for high transmission stability requirements; If you need high bandwidth, low latency communication, and need large capacity data transmission and cloud computing needs, you can choose IEPL.

2、 Network topology

MPLS can establish a virtual private network, which is suitable for point-to-point and point to multipoint communication modes. At the same time, it has good traffic engineering and QoS support.

To sum up, choosing the right network service can find the right solution from the three points of business requirements, transmission characteristics and technical requirements.
