Linode: world-famous and old ECS, 11 data centers, hourly billing, 40Gbps ultra bandwidth

linode Founded in the United States in 2003, it is one of the earliest VPS merchants in the world. It started as a VPS based on Xen virtualization. In 2015, it abandoned Xen and invested in KVM. In 2022, it was acquired by the global CDN giant akamai. At present, Linode operates cloud server services in 11 data centers around the world, including: cloud server (including AMD, Intel, shared CPU, independent CPU, GPU, and bare metal), block storage, object storage, backup, database, cloud firewall, DDoS defense, DNS management, load balancing, and intranet.

By default, all ECS are based on KVM virtualization, a pure SSD array, and an IPv4. A single ECS has a maximum inflow bandwidth of 40Gbps and an outflow bandwidth of 12Gbps.
