Siemens servo driver, also known as "servo controller" and "servo amplifier", is a kind of controller used to control servo motor. Its function is similar to that of frequency converter acting on ordinary AC motor. It is a part of servo system and is mainly used in high-precision positioning system. Generally, servo motor is controlled by position, speed and torque to achieve high-precision positioning of transmission system. At present, it is a product of transmission technology. How to install the servo driver correctly?

1. Installation position: indoor, free of water, dust, corrosive gas and good ventilation;

2. How to install: vertical installation with good ventilation;

3. Installed on the metal base plate;

4. If possible, please install additional ventilation fan in the control box;

5. The driver uses the same power supply as the electric welding machine and EDM equipment, or the high-frequency interference equipment near the driver, please use isolation transformer and active filter;

6. Please install Siemens servo driver in a dry and well ventilated place;

7. Please try to avoid vibration or impact;

8. Do everything possible to prevent metal dust and scrap iron from entering the drive;

9. When installing, please make sure that the driver is fixed and not easy to loose and fall off;

10. The wiring terminal must be provided with insulation protection;

11. After disconnecting the power supply of the drive, the drive must be powered on again after an interval of 10 seconds, otherwise frequent power on and power off will cause damage to the drive;

12. Within 1 minute after disconnecting the power supply of the driver, it is forbidden to directly touch the terminal of the driver with hands, otherwise there will be a risk of electric shock;

13. When multiple drivers are installed in one cabinet, it is recommended to use forced air cooling in the cabinet to ensure good heat dissipation of Siemens servo drivers and avoid mutual electromagnetic interference.
