I Continuous current micro ohmmeter RMO-C series
Continuous current micro ohmmeter RMO-C is a DV Power micro ohmmeter series, which has enhanced output capability and unlimited test duration under 200 A DC test current. RMO300C and RMO500C models can also generate 10 A current within 300 minutes.
RMO-C is designed to measure the contact resistance of non inductive test objects and applications with higher safety requirements. It tests medium and high voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors, high current bus connectors, cable connectors and different high current links. Due to bilateral grounding and remote control functions, the instrument can measure accurately even in the environment, providing additional security for testers.
The instrument is placed in an unbreakable plastic shell with IP67 protection grade (with a closed cover). Although the RMO-C micro ohmmeter is very portable and portable, it has very high output power capability. High output voltage can achieve a wider measurement range at higher test current. Therefore, it allows the use of thinner/longer test cables. RMO-C generates true DC ripple free (less than 1% ripple) current through automatically adjusted test ramp. During the test, it increases the current before measurement and decreases the current after measurement. This greatly reduces the magnetic transient and ensures accuracy.
When the instrument is tested under BSG conditions, a special current clamp measures the current passing through the ground. The instrument itself powers these fixtures. If a higher level of security is required, the remote control function enables the operator to measure from a distance.
The RMO-C instrument can store up to 500 measured values in its internal memory. In addition, they also have a USB flash drive as an option. Another function is the built-in high-precision module, which is suitable for measuring extremely low resistance values, with a range of 1 to 30 μΩ and a resolution of 0.01 μΩ.
