Which behaviors belong to excessive SEO

Summary:

The simple definition of search engine optimization (SEO) is not difficult to understand. The purpose of SEO is to get as much traffic from search engines as possible. One mistake that many new bloggers often make is Search Engine Over optimization. Essentially, the so-called SEO optimization is excessive. In many places, it is also the trick that SEO cheats and black hats often use.

Which behaviors belong to excessive SEO optimization?

The following is an explanation from Daniel Scocco:

The simple definition of search engine optimization (SEO) is not difficult to understand. The purpose of SEO is to get as much traffic from search engines as possible. If you are willing to spend time to learn SEO, I believe you can get a general idea from the Internet in just a few hours.

A brief overview of the SEO content often mentioned online:

-Original and valuable content
-High quality backlinks to relevant content pages
-Unique article title, including article related keywords
-Fixed links of articles should include relevant keywords as much as possible (for English blogs/websites)
-The website directory structure should not be too many, and should be kept below three levels as far as possible. Good internal links should be made on the website pages
When you do this, I believe your blog/website will gradually get traffic from search engines.

However, you should not be too greedy, resulting in excessive SEO optimization. This is a mistake many newcomers make

The following are some manifestations of excessive SEO optimization:

1. Constantly repeat a keyword in the main body of the article to improve the keyword density of the word
2. Excessive use of bold and italics on a keyword
3. Deliberately create some link anchor text at the bottom of the website to add internal links
4. Get backlinks from low-quality resources through link anchor text (for example, website directory and dofollow blog)
5. Get external links through too many identical link anchor texts
6. Exchange links with low-quality or irrelevant websites, or purchase backlinks from irrelevant websites

These practices may be effective in the short term, and indeed bring a lot of views from search engines. But after a while, Google bots (that is, robots) will rate your website as over optimized (that is, cheating). After manual review, if the editor thinks your website is cheating, Google will punish you.

Google is one of the best search engines, so don't try "law" by yourself. You can get a lot of traffic from Google by following the rules and optimizing SEO in a correct, legal and compliant manner, but do not cheat to achieve this goal.
