The products have passed CE, KC, UKCA, CP, NOM, NYCE certification and are made in Vietnam.
The fuselage is made of PC fireproof white shell, which indicates high brightness surface treatment. In addition, both sides are also designed with semicircle arc surface.
Belkin brand is printed on the top of the fuselage.
The corresponding prompt logo is printed on the back of the corresponding input port interface.
The corresponding two USB-C interfaces are printed with 100W PD input and data transmission marks respectively.
There are two USB-C interfaces at the input end. The USB-C interface on the left is a charging interface, which supports 100W PD fast charging input. The USB-C interface on the right is the data transmission interface, which supports the USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps) transmission specification.
The measured end-to-end length of Belkin USB-C data+charging converter is about 16cm.
The length of the fuselage is 50.08mm.
The width is 59.12mm.
The thickness is 13.77mm.
The size of the product in the hand is intuitive.
In addition, the measured net weight of Erkin USB-C data+charging converter is about 42g.
The actual application scenario of Belkin's USB-C data+charging converter is shown in the figure. The USB-C cable end is connected to the new iPhone 15, and the other two interfaces are respectively connected to the charger and the hard disk box with SSD. At the same time, it realizes the charging and data transmission operations for the mobile phone.
Since the power output of the USB-C port of the iPhone 15 series new machine is limited to 4.5W, some USB-C data transmission devices (such as SSDs) need more power.Another highlight of the product is that it can simultaneously supply power for the mobile phone and SSD hard disk box, enabling Apple's iPhone 15 series new computers to support ProRes RAW direct recording directly through camera applications4K@60HzVideo to USB-C SSD, easy to use.
It can also be seen from the display screen of the hard disk case that the writing speed of the hard disk case is 216MB/s (about 1.69Gbps) when recording video directly to the USB-C SSD, which is less than one fifth of the performance of the USB-C data interface. It can be seen that the charging and data transmission performance of Belkin's converter can fully meet the daily use needs of Apple's iPhone 15 series new machines.
Disassembly of Belkin USB-C data+charging converter
After seeing the unpacking and display of Belkin's converter, we will take a look at the internal workmanship and materials.
First pry off the shell along the shell seam and remove the side panel.
Cut the housing along the side and take out the internal PCBA module.
The PCBA module is fixed inside the housing by glue.
The front and back sides of PCBA module are equipped with metal shielding covers.
Remove the shield covers on both sides of the PCBA module and continue disassembly.
The left side of the front of PCBA module is welded with VBUS switch tube, synchronous voltage rise and fall converter, filter capacitor, voltage rise and fall inductance, and the right side is welded with hub chip, switch chip and USB PD controller.Weld the output wire at the top and two USB-C sockets at the bottom.
A VBUS switch tube, filter capacitor and other components are welded on the back of the PCBA module. The two USB-C mother seats are fixed by countersunk plate through hole welding to reduce the overall thickness.
The USB-C conductor is fixed by welding with metal wire clamp. All data lines are equipped with ESD protection diodes for electrostatic protection.
The back is welded with positive and negative power supply wires.
