With the rapid development of biotechnology, drug research and development has gradually entered a new era of precision and personalization. Targeted protein degradation (TPD) drugs are a new therapeutic strategy, which can degrade specific sick proteins by using the ubiquitin proteasome system in vivo to achieve precise treatment. As an important new therapeutic drug, TPD is attracting more and more attention and innovation. Drug design for specific disease target (TPD) has become a hot spot in the field of drug research and development.
Proteomics, as a science that studies the composition, structure, function and relationship of proteins in organisms, can comprehensively reveal the interaction between drugs and proteins. Combined with proteomics technology, we can deeply explore the targeting performance of TPD drugs, providing an important basis for drug optimization design and clinical application.
BTP has established a proteome analysis platform for TPD drug targeting performance using high resolution mass spectrometers such as Thermo's Orbitrap Fusion Lumos to provide you with TPD drug targeted degradation characteristics analysis services based on whole proteomics technology. An experiment can identify 80000-10000 kinds of whole proteins. Our analysis services include but are not limited to:
• Target protein degradation activity ( Target protein degradation activity ) analysis :
Data independent acquisition (DIA) technology and professional protein retrieval software are used to cover proteome more comprehensively and effectively improve the quantitative accuracy of protein of interest (POI) compared with the labeling quantitative technology of TMT/iTRAQ represented by traditional DDA technology;
• Targeting selectivity( Target selectivity )Analysis :
The changes of POI and other differential proteins were analyzed by differential proteomics to comprehensively evaluate the targeting selectivity of TPD drugs;
• Potential off target and safety concerns analysis :
Based on the results of TPD drug targeting selectivity, integrate multi platform database analysis to explore the potential risk of TPD drug miss and safety issues;
• Biological functions and mechanisms of action :
Classical bioinformatics functional analysis strategies, such as PPI, GO and KEGG, were used to explore the biological function and mechanism of action mediated by TPD drugs.
