At the Anzhen Shiguang Theme Square of the North Third Ring Road in early summer, the colorful rape flowers played the leading role again. The three-day rape flower fair opened on May 10. Shiguang Theme Square is an important node of the "Anzhen Xinfang" vitality block. By the end of 2024, the vitality block will be basically completed.
Rape flower collection brings out local delicacies
The Shiguang Theme Square is located in front of the old Anzhen Hualian Gate. A large area of rape flowers can be seen from afar before approaching. The flowers here are specially cultivated colorful rape flowers. In addition to golden flowers, there are pink and lavender flowers.
At the rape flower fair, food specialties from 13 provinces and cities appeared, including Danzhou yellow peel, dregs vinegar, coconut silk buns in Hainan, smoked sauce cooked food and rice in Jilin, and characteristic Chinese honey in Fengjiayu Town, Miyun. In addition, the Chinese Puppet Theater also brought the small elephant blind box and the small bell gold card.
"In such a prosperous place as the North Third Ring Road, there are a large number of rape flowers. I plan to pull my friends to wear hanfu at the weekend and take photos again." A young girl excitedly displayed the rape flower theme postmark that had just been covered.
According to the relevant person in charge of Anzhen Street, this rape flower collection, with the theme of "sweet", integrates creative market, cultural and creative product display and tourism promotion, and will last until May 12. In the future, residents will also be invited to participate in the planting and maintenance of rape flowers, and young people will be organized to study.
Public space will become a boundless park
At present, Anzhen Street is carrying out large-scale public space transformation to create a "Anzhen New Square" dynamic block. Anzhen Light Gathering Theme Square is an important node.
In March, the "Anzhen Xinfang" project was started, and the integration of Anzhen Road Anhua Road, Waiguanxie Street, North Third Ring Road, Anzhen Hospital, China Puppet Theater, Zhejiang Building, Fujian Building and other important nodes was successively improved, the green fence was opened, and the slow walking path was added.
"After the reconstruction is completed, the green area of the public space of Anzhen Street will increase from about 18000 square meters to nearly 23000 square meters." The relevant person in charge of Anzhen Street, Chaoyang District, said that the future Anzhen Street will be like a large boundless park, with beautiful scenery all the year round. Take the front area of the Chinese Puppet Theater and the green space in Anhua Road as an example, a green heart park will be built, which will set up different areas such as Children's Square, Zhongle Square, Kangle Square and Xingle Square for different age groups.
Urban furniture will be introduced at several nodes of the block and around the roads to upgrade accessibility standards and promote the optimization of business leaders, parking routes and connecting spaces along the North Third Ring Road. The renovation project of Anhuaxili No.1 cultural facilities is being promoted and will become the art creation center in the north of Chaoyang District.
Keep the nostalgia context in the old street
Anzhen is a place with history, context and stories. The name of "Anzhen" originates from the Anzhen Gate in Dadu, Yuan Dynasty.
Today, there are not only the ruins of Dadu City Wall built 738 years ago, but also the West Yellow Temple with a history of nearly 400 years, as well as Waiguan Xiejie, the starting point of international trade in the north that began to form in the Qing Dynasty. After this promotion, there will be more landscapes with profound cultural connotation linked together to continue the historical context. The cultural elements of Waiguanxie Street and Xihuangsi Museum will also be reflected in the block space reconstructed by "Anzhen New Square".
By the end of 2024, the public space transformation and upgrading project of "Anzhen Xinfang" vitality block will be completed. At that time, there will be not only four seasons of beautiful scenery, but also a number of theme commercial streets focusing on cultural continuity, convenient life and commercial services.
