On May 8, the regulations on enrollment of ordinary colleges and universities in Beijing in 2024 were released. Compared with 2023, the A and B sections of the undergraduate program approved in advance for art volunteers in 2024 have been adjusted. Among them, the art section A is adjusted from 2 volunteers to 1 volunteer; Paragraph B is no longer divided into fine arts and non fine arts categories, but directly increased to 20 volunteers.

June 7-10 College Entrance Examination

In 2024, the college entrance examination will still include the unified college entrance examination and the academic grade examination. The unified college entrance examination is held from June 7 to 8, and the subjects are Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages. The academic grade test will be held from June 9 to 10. The subjects are six, namely, ideological politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry and biology. The examinees will choose three subjects to take the test. The full score of Chinese, mathematics and foreign language is 150 points. The scores of the academic grade examination subjects are converted according to the requirements, and the full score of each subject is 100 points.

Class 5 examinees are not allowed to register for the college entrance examination, including: college students with ordinary higher education qualifications, or students who have been admitted by ordinary colleges and universities and retain their admission qualifications; Non current graduates from senior secondary education schools; The new graduates who apply for the entrance examination of ordinary colleges and universities by fraudulent means in a year other than the year of graduation at the stage of senior secondary education; Those who have been suspended from taking the college entrance examination due to violation of the national education examination regulations and are in the period of suspension; Persons who have been subject to criminal punishment for violating the criminal law and are still within the punishment period.

The Beijing Institute of Education and Examinations specially emphasized that if a candidate is found to have any of the above conditions that do not meet the requirements of the college entrance examination between the time of registration and the time of the commencement of the college entrance examination, he or she will be disqualified from registering for the college entrance examination.

Volunteer increase of art section B

Undergraduate enrollment still has two batches: advance batch and ordinary batch, which are admitted in order. Among them, the ordinary batch of undergraduate students still implements parallel volunteering, setting up 30 volunteers. Undergraduate students are divided into art and general categories in advance. Candidates can only choose one category, not both. Both types are set with two sections A and B, which are recorded in order.

Compared with previous years, the art category has adjusted the volunteer setting - one volunteer is set up in section A, and colleges (majors) with the qualification of the art major school examination and the use of the inter provincial joint examination results of the drama category are admitted in this section; In section B, 20 parallel volunteers are set up, and colleges (majors) that use the results of the unified examination of arts as their professional scores are admitted in this section.

Section A of the general category has two sequential volunteers. Military, public security, flight cadets, public funded normal students, some sports majors, navigation and other difficult majors, Marxism theory majors of national key Marxist colleges, comprehensive evaluation enrollment of relevant colleges and universities, and other special colleges and universities (majors) approved by the Ministry of Education are enrolled in this section; In section B, 20 parallel volunteers are set up. Each volunteer is set up with one college and one major. The "double training plan", "external training plan" (except for arts and sports majors) and "rural special plan" are enrolled in this section.

There are two batches of junior college enrollment: advance batch and ordinary batch, which are admitted in order. Junior college students are divided into art and general classes in advance. Candidates can only choose one class, not both. Among them, art volunteers are no longer divided into fine arts and non fine arts. There are 20 parallel volunteers, and each volunteer has one college and one major. Two sequential volunteers are set for the general category, and each volunteer is set with one college and six majors. There are 20 parallel volunteers in the general batch of junior colleges, and each volunteer has one college and one major.

20 points can be added for two types of examinees

According to the examination institute, on the basis of the total score of the unified cultural examination, the two types of examinees will increase 20 points to provide files to colleges and universities, and the colleges and universities will review and decide whether to enroll them. They are the children of martyrs and ex servicemen who have won second-class merit or above during their service or have been awarded honorary titles by units above the war zone (former major military region).

Three types of examinees can add 10 points to the total score to provide files to colleges and universities: returned overseas Chinese, children of overseas Chinese, children of returned overseas Chinese; Candidates with Taiwan provincial registration (including Taiwan household registration); Retired soldiers who are self-employed.

The minority examinees who transfer from border areas, mountainous areas, pastoral areas, and areas inhabited by ethnic minorities to study in the city at the stage of senior secondary education will be given 5 points more than the total score to provide files to colleges and universities. In addition, candidates who have won second class merit in peacetime or military personnel who have won third class merit or above in wartime will be given priority in admission under the same conditions.

Candidates who meet multiple additional points conditions for the college entrance examination at the same time will not be given cumulative additional points. Only the highest score will be taken as the additional points for candidates to file. All items and points added in the college entrance examination are not used for art majors, high-level sports teams, college special programs and other enrollment projects for which colleges and universities do not arrange provincial enrollment plans.
