On May 6, Beijing Public Transport Group opened a new medical special line, No. 11, from Software Park Square to the east entrance of Longyu North Street, which can directly reach the new Longze hospital area of Jishuitan Hospital, making patients less detours and medical staff more convenient to commute.
At more than 7 o'clock in the morning, we arrived at the bus stop at the west entrance of Longyu North Street at the entrance of the new Longze Hospital District of Jishuitan Hospital, and found that the bus stop board had added the route map of "medical special line". Uncle Yang lives in the community near the east entrance of Longyu North Street, and the No. 11 medical special line just passes the bus station at the east entrance of Longyu North Street. "I came here by other buses this morning, and I knew I would take this bus." Uncle Yang said that he had to come to the hospital every month, and usually he had to walk about 1 km to the hospital by bus. "If you take this bus, it will be 100 meters to the hospital gate."
Li Jin, the administrative leader of the 15th motorcade of the First Passenger Branch of Beijing Public Transport Group, introduced that the residents in the neighborhood around the east entrance of Longyu North Street are mainly elderly people. After the line is opened, it will be more convenient for the elderly to go to the hospital for medical treatment. The line also passes the Xierqi subway station, and it will be more convenient for hospital medical staff to go from the subway station to the hospital.
Since 2024, the bus group has launched 10 medical lines in two batches, covering 14 hospitals, including Guang'anmen, Xuanwu, Dongzhimen, Jishuitan, Temple of Heaven, Chuiyangliu, etc., which greatly facilitates the transportation of medical people. (Zhang Yue)
