The electronic map of Beijing childcare institutions has been launched recently. Families in need can simply log on Baidu Map or Gaode Map and enter "childcare institutions" in the search column to query the relevant information of the surrounding childcare institutions.
In order to further improve the awareness rate of childcare institutions in the city and provide convenience for the majority of childcare families to inquire about childcare service information, the Beijing Family Planning Association and the Beijing Special Committee for Infant Care Services, together with Baidu Maps and Gaode Maps, recently updated online map information for childcare institutions in the city.
According to the municipal family planning association, 325 childcare institutions participated in the online map information activity. Among them, Baidu Maps added 141 new nurseries and updated 13; Gaode Map added 51 information points and updated the information of existing nurseries in batches. Families with childcare needs can use Baidu Map and Gaode Map to search for information such as the name, address, business hours and contact number of nearby childcare institutions.
It is reported that since 2024, the city has implemented the Service Specifications for Infant and Young Child Care Institutions and the Quality Evaluation Standards for Childcare Institutions, which define the service content, service process, service evaluation and improvement of childcare institutions, and evaluate the conditions for childcare, health care, parenting support, safety assurance and other contents. Relevant departments also carried out training for nursery talents, with a total of more than 4000 person times of persons in charge of nursery institutions, nurseries and health care personnel trained.
