In 2024, cruise ships will achieve full coverage of 5G for the first time. Tourists can enjoy a more convenient and smooth sailing experience through functions such as one click code scanning for ticket purchase, deposit payment, online queuing, self-service number calling, code scanning start, automatic settlement of code scanning, etc.

Cruise services will also be upgraded in 2024. 40 non self propelled boats have been added. Tourists can choose four seat, six seat non self propelled boats, and 20 rowing boats. Tourists with different needs can enjoy the pleasure of boating.

In 2024, Shichahai cruise ship will continue to hold a series of colorful theme cultural activities, such as Guyu sailing ceremony, Dragon Boat Festival cruise competition, Chinese Valentine's Day love, Mid Autumn Festival reunion, Chongyang wish longevity, etc. In addition, in 2024, the interactive forms of intangible cultural heritage performances such as Canal Chant and Zither Player Performance were added.

In order to ensure the safety and comfort of cruise ships, the operator, Sanhai Company, has completed the safety reinforcement and repair of seven cruise ship terminals and updated the safety facilities in the early preparation process. Before sailing, the staff of Xicheng Transport Management Branch of the Municipal Communications Commission carefully inspected the life-saving equipment, fire-fighting equipment, mooring equipment and anti-skid facilities of the cruise ship wharf, and systematically inspected the life-saving equipment and batteries of various cruise ships.
