February 4 is the second anniversary of the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, and the Beijing Olympic Museum, which was rebuilt and opened, welcomed the first batch of visitors.

At about 9:00 a.m., visitors entered the Beijing Olympic Museum from the south gate to experience the charm of the two Olympic Games. Among the first batch of visitors, there are people who have experienced the Beijing Olympic Games and the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, as well as ordinary visitors and family groups. In the exhibition hall, pictures and objects showed the Olympic glory of the "City of Double Olympics", attracting the audience to stop to enjoy and take photos. Some parents told their children the Olympic history and stories behind the objects.

In the basic exhibition area, the "Volunteer Home" of the Beijing Winter Olympics was restored. The day coincides with the Spring Festival, and the museum provides brush, ink, paper and inkstone here for the audience to write the characters of happiness and welcome the New Year. The interactive experience area of sports events is one of the favorite areas for children. Everyone actively participates in curling, table tennis, basketball, VR skiing and other different experience projects according to their preferences to learn sports knowledge and gain sports happiness.

As the first thematic exhibition held after the opening of the Beijing Olympic Museum, the Beijing Double Olympics Art Retrospective Exhibition was officially launched in the art exhibition unit, with a total exhibition area of about 1000 square meters. It displayed more than 100 excellent art works created by artists at home and abroad for the Beijing Olympic Games and the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, covering traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, watercolor, sculpture and other categories, including Huang Yongyu Works of Han Meilin, Wu Weishan, Fan Zeng, Chen Danqing, Yuan Xikun, Yi Ming, Huang Jian and other artists. The exhibition will last until early May 2024.

"To launch this exhibition on this special day, or in the upgraded Beijing Olympic Museum, I think it can show the charm of the combination of Chinese culture and Olympic culture to the world. I hope that the audience who love sports and art can enjoy this exhibition," said Yi Ming. (Zhuoran)
