Cultural relics bearing the family memory, such as the Ming Dynasty coronal portrait, the Wu Gongmochi written in the ninth year of Longfeng in the Han and Song Dynasties, the Ming Taizu Royal Pagoda, etc., supplemented by the exquisite Ming Dynasty restoration clothing... 72 Qiyang Family cultural relics reappeared after more than 90 years, telling the historical memory of a family that lasted for more than 600 years.

In the exhibition hall of "Qiyang Shize - Exhibition of Li Wenzhong's Family Cultural Relics in the National Museum of China", portraits of adults of equal height are displayed in rows, which is quite spectacular. As the founder of the Ming Dynasty, Li Wenzhong joined his uncle Zhu Yuanzhang with his father Li Zhen when he was young. After his death, he was posthumously named King Qiyang. The descendant of the Li family, Xi Jue, was granted the title of marquis. His family has lasted for more than 600 years. Now, this family cultural relics exhibition is led by Li Zhen and his wife, and family figures have "appeared" one after another.

Hu Yan, the curator, carefully introduced the portraits of Li Wenzhong and Li Zhen: "These are two surviving portraits of the Ming Dynasty's coronal dress. A closer look at the portrait of Li Wenzhong shows that the jacket is blue, and you can clearly identify the patterns of python, mountain, fire, etc. The exposed part of the lower hem can see the fu (f ú) pattern and the jade pendants on both sides, which are typical of the shape of the crown of Prince Guan in the early Ming Dynasty. Its costumes are of great significance in the history of Chinese costumes. "

There is no lack of interesting stories in the thick memory of family and country. There is a handkerchief in the showcase, which has an interesting history behind it. Once, Zhu Yuanzhang happily wrapped the steamed bun with his royal handkerchief and rewarded Li Fangying, the son of Li Wenzhong. After the whole family tasted the steamed bread, they treasured the royal handkerchief in their temple. Li Jinglong, the son of Li Wenzhong, specially wrote a Ji En book to record this matter. Now, the audience can see the Emperor Taizu's imperial handkerchief and Ji En book at the same time.

There are also a number of cultural relics that have been rejuvenated by the exhibition. A piece of rhinoceros armor collected by the Qiyang Aristocratic Family was once rolled into a tube and displayed in the warehouse. "Since it entered the Tibetan National Museum in the last century, it has been kept in its original state and will not be easily touched to avoid accidental injury." Hu Yan said that this time, she specially repaired the leather armor and fully unfolded it. "The last complete launch was in the Republic of China."

"In the late Qing Dynasty, even when the family was in decline, the descendants of the Li family still spared no effort to protect the family relics. The inheritance of these cultural relics originated from their family consciousness and was the self memory of a family. Because of its integrity, order, and closeness to the times, it provided the possibility for future generations to cut into social history, institutional history, cultural history, clothing history and other topics." Hu Yan said.

Taking the family history as the main line, the exhibition is divided into four parts: "Cang Wu Originated", "Zan Ying Clan", "Hou De Liu Guang" and "Yu Yin Qing Wei", emphasizing the conscious protection and inheritance of the family roots by the Li family members. At the same time, the exhibition also restored four sets of official costumes of the Ming Dynasty specifically based on these cultural relics, so that the audience can intuitively experience the traditional costume culture.
