By then, the length of Beijing urban rail transit network will increase from 807 kilometers to 836 kilometers, the number of stations will increase from 477 to 490, and the number of transfer stations will increase from 81 to 83.
The urban rail transit command center has updated the urban rail transit network diagram, and the northern section of Line 17 and the remaining sections of Line 16 have been added to the network diagram. The planned opening of Line 11 mode stations has been adjusted from the delayed opening state to the normal operation state. Before the operation on the day of opening, the municipal rail transit command center will organize the operation unit to complete the replacement of station and train online network diagram, so that passengers can understand the newly opened lines.
North section of Line 17
Tiantongyuan residents have a faster choice to enter the city
The northern section of Line 17 (Workers' Stadium - Future Science City North) will be opened at the end of December, with an operating mileage of 24.9 km and 10 stations, of which Wangjing West Station is temporarily suspended. The line runs south-north and connects Changping District and Chaoyang District. It can not only serve the key residential areas such as Beiqijia, Tiantongyuan, Beiyuan, but also support and drive the development of the future Science City, Wangjing, Sanlitun and other regions.
The total length of Metro Line 17 is 49.97km, and the design speed is 100km/h. It adopts the mode of large station express train, and is positioned as a large volume express line. It is estimated that in the morning peak hours, residents in the Tiantongyuan area who want to transfer to Line 10 can save about 10 minutes by taking Line 17, compared with the northern section of the parallel Line 5.
The northern section of Line 17 supports the transfer to Line 10 of the "main artery" of rail transit at Taiyanggong Station. Taiyanggong Station is also the only transfer station among the stations to be opened in this section, and the daily average passenger flow is expected to reach 88000 person times after opening. The Worker's Stadium Station of Line 17 is adjacent to Sanlitun Business District, with an estimated daily average passenger flow of 23000 person times.
In terms of decoration, the northern section of Line 17 adopts simple and refined style. The decoration theme of Worker's Stadium Station is "sports dynamic · modern rhythm". Passengers can see the heroic appearance of "football players" in the station hall; Sun Palace Station is dominated by the color of the sun, and the magic bird tile and mural warm sun add interest and beauty; Xiba River Station chooses light blue color according to the image of water. The mural "Light and Shadow of the Dam River" reflects the canal culture; Tiantongyuan East Station creates a "myriad lights" shape on the ceiling, giving passengers a warm feeling; The Future Science City Station is designed with a blue "sky" to create a scientific atmosphere.
Remaining section of Line 16
Transfer station Suzhou Street Station is enabled synchronously
The remaining sections of Metro Line 16 and Suzhou Street Station will also be opened soon. The remaining section extends westward to 2 stations on the basis of the existing Line 16, namely Hongtaizhuang Station and Wanpingcheng Station; After the opening of Suzhou Street Station of Line 16, it can form a transfer with Line 10, further enhance the attraction of passenger flow of Line 16, and provide convenience for passengers from Haidian Mountain area in the north and Fengtai Fangshan area in the south to work in Zhongguancun Science Park. After opening, the whole line of Metro Line 16 will be connected, with a total operating mileage of 48.9 km, and can transfer with Line 4, Line 6, Line 7, Line 9, Line 10, and Fangshan Line.
After the transfer between Suzhou Street Station of Line 16 and Line 10, it is estimated that the daily inbound and outbound passenger flow can reach 33000 person times, and the transfer passenger flow can reach 55000 person times.
Suzhou Street Station is equipped with four vertical elevators to facilitate passengers with large luggage. The two customer service centers in the station will provide passengers with ticket processing, problem consultation and other services. The train broadcast of Line 16 will prompt passengers to transfer to Line 10 at Suzhou Street Station to help passengers get ready to get off in advance.
The station decoration design of the remaining sections of Line 16 continues the theme of "Jinglang Ancient Charm" of the whole line, takes Chinese elements as the main shape, and sets up an art station at Wanpingcheng Station. The murals in Wanping City Station integrate the two pictures together in the form of AB folding surface. A side starts from the historical relics and cultural landscape, and carries out the second creation of the various stone lions on the Lugou Xiaoyue, Wanping City Wall and Lugou Bridge; Side B combines the red base style, and integrates red impressions such as flags and lanterns. The picture will change continuously with the passenger traveling, forming overlapping visual effects.
Remaining section of west section of Line 11
Model Exit Station facilitates the travel of surrounding residents
The mode exit station of Metro Line 11 will be opened soon, and the new operating mileage of Line 11 will be 1.4 kilometers.
Line 11 (New Shougang - Jinanqiao) will be opened at the end of 2021, and the Jinanqiao - Modeport section will be opened at the end of 2023, with an additional operating mileage of 1.4 kilometers and a new station Modeport station. After the opening, the operating mileage of Line 11 will reach 3.9 kilometers.
