The operation cycle of the new phase is from December 6, 2023 to February 17, 2024. During this period, the train will run from Tuesday to Sunday every week. During the New Year's Day and the Spring Festival holiday, it will be arranged according to the actual situation. The operation section is from Gucheng Station to Universal Resort Station. In addition, Beijing Metro will also successively launch "welcome" activities such as collecting passengers' New Year wishes, collecting stamps and punching cards.
The design of "Time Train" summarizes the subway models with landmark features of Beijing subway in past dynasties. Among the six carriages, the carriages at both ends of the train have reverted to the classic subway models of the 1960s and 1970s respectively, and the train adopts a special horizontal seat layout. The theme of the middle four carriages is the "double Olympic" elements of trains in the 1980s and 1990s and the new century. The 6-car marshalling adopts the scheme of extending from both ends of the train to the middle two cars from the appearance to the interior, so that passengers can experience the feeling of "from the past to the present" and "from the present to the past" no matter whether they get on the train from the front or the rear.
Beijing Metro will post the "Time Train" time information at the stations along Batong Line of Line 1, so that passengers can take the train at each point for more convenience.
