AIGC Application Case Tutorial | About How to Use AI to Help Design Dynamic Supersymbols

This is a series of AIGC application tutorials. Previously, we introduced the whole process of AIGC making posters, WeChat red envelopes, dynamic guide pages and ancient poetry videos. This one introduced the whole process of AIGC aided dynamic super symbol design!

1、 AIGC design exploration

The previous articles mainly introduced the Wensheng map, the graph generation map and the basic model. Today, we will use some advanced functions such as "Search Edge" and "Depth Scan".

The effect of this design can be LOGO, icon, text, etc. It is said that the controllability of AI painting is poor. This time, we directly stylized the existing logo design, which is not only creative but also shows the powerful controllability of AI painting, which has more commercial value.

2、 Preliminary preparation

2.1 Supersymbols

The so-called super symbol is a concept used in brand marketing and communication. It refers to those symbols with high recognition and strong cultural or public significance, which can quickly attract people's attention and association, thus deepening the memory and cognition of the brand. For example, this time we used the well-known APP LOGO as a case.

2.2 Advanced functions

The previous articles mainly introduced the map generation model, such as the use process of cultural map and graphic map, the style comparison of the basic model, and several parameters. Today's introduction of "super symbols" will use the advanced functions of picture reference, such as "search edge" and "depth scanning", to control AI to generate specific icons.

"Search Edge" intelligently searches the main edge of the picture and combines the prompt words to generate an effect picture with a contour similar to the original picture.

"Depth scanning" is generally used for contours, such as characters. The reduction degree of character representation is relatively high, and the pattern reduction effect of architectural space is also good.

2.3 Design tools

To sort out the design tools and workflow used in the whole design process, first use Illustrator to make the LOGO base map, then use the WHEE cultural map to generate the main vision of super symbols, then use Figma typesetting, AI video tools to generate dynamic effects, which is really an efficient one-stop service. 3、 Easily complete the main vision of super symbols

Step1 Prepare super symbol

After selecting the super symbol, you need to make a black and white LOGO picture.

For more advanced playing methods, Adobe Illustrator can be used to create 3D LOGO with stereoscopic perspective effect.

Select Object in the toolbar of Adobe Illustrator tool, select Image Tracing, and then select Create and Expand.

Then select 3D in the toolbar and select Bulge and Bevel to adjust the thickness and angle of the LOGO tilt.

Step 2 Common operations of cultural map

(1) Prompt word

In brief, prompt words are the text descriptions of the generated images, which decompose the phrases in AI paintings into smaller parts of the Token, separated by commas, and used to generate images. Therefore, the more detailed the prompt words and the more latitude, the more consistent the picture can be generated.

At the end of the article, I listed various types of prompt words in detail for everyone to learn.

(2) Basic parameters

After writing prompt words, you can use default parameters to directly generate pictures. If you want to make the picture more consistent with your requirements, such as the size of the picture, the style used, such as future science fiction style, 3D style, national style model, etc. Understanding the basic parameters can better help you generate pictures.

Step 3 Advanced Operation of Graphs

(3) Picture reference

In the Wensheng Diagram mode, you can design super symbols by setting a large model, entering prompt words, and selecting "Search Edge" (control the outer contour) in the picture reference. At the same time, you can superimpose the style model and your creative ideas.

Basic formula: LOGO+Find Edge

Advanced: "depth scanning" needs to be added to control the context of the picture.

When the dimension of symbols generated by AI cannot meet the requirements of our design creativity, Adobe Illustrator can be used to design the tilt and angle.

Step 4 Style model exploration

After understanding the above three parts, select the advanced formula: LOGO+"Search Edge"+"Depth Scan", and start to use prompts and models to generate pictures.

This time, we mainly use symbols to integrate into the landscape and try different materials. According to different prompts, we will first try a single model with different prompts to design different effects. Here I use 18 styles to show you the effects: default big model, abstract different dimensions, e-commerce scene, science fiction 3D, national style new landscape, externalism, 3D cartoon, national diffuse and other styles.

Next, don't limit yourself to one style effect. You can try to combine different models to generate picture effects, such as: default large model, 3D icon, pixel style, macro vision, rock color painting, voxel style, national style new landscape, Hollywood and other models. Select a suitable model to stack the effect will be more amazing.

4、 Easy poster design

4.1 Post adjustment

After the completion of the main visual image, make adjustments in the later stage, including AI ultra clear image quality, AI image modification, AI no trace clear and other processing methods.

Here we mainly introduce the "AI Ultra clear" function. There are two options, "HD" 1440 * 2560. "Ultra clear" 2880 * 5120

There are five styles to choose from, which are suitable for portrait, general, natural scenery and 3D style. I choose natural scenery here to make the scenery stand out in front of me.

4.2 Design and typesetting

Typesetting of the generated pictures is divided into two parts: theme text typesetting and background fusion. Pull out the gradient layer for visual stitching and light sense processing, design the theme text "Meet the Good Life", and integrate the main visual background, visual elements, text, etc.

4.3 Series design

Use the same prompt words, replace the image to be made to "find the edge" and "depth scan", and use the AI HD function to supplement the picture details to improve the resolution, so that the main visual image of the super symbol series can be obtained.

5、 AIGC dynamic design steps

The next important step is to use AI video to make dynamic effects. Find "AI Video Tools" in AI authoring tools.

5.1 Graphic video

When you open it, you can see two modes: picture generation video and text generation video. At present, the AI video tool is still under internal testing, and many parameters in the picture generation text cannot be adjusted, so it is more recommended that you use "picture generation video" to create after generating pictures in AI painting.

At present, it is a 4s video. The overall picture quality and picture control effect are stable, and it is completely satisfied with simple dynamic effects.

5.2 Post editing

Put the AI generated video and the layout layer into the editing software, and clip the card frame and fuzzy video, so far the dynamic super symbol design is complete!

5.3 Summary of design steps

Review the whole dynamic super symbol design process.

The first step is to use AI to generate pictures: first, use design tools to make LOGO base pictures: make black and white gray LOGO pictures, and make 3D LOGO with stereoscopic perspective effect.
