Networking application

It can provide high-performance wireless services for occasions with moderate area, relatively concentrated users and enterprise level scenarios with large demand for capacity. This type of equipment can be flexibly distributed according to different environments. AP6010DN-AGN can also work in the mixed mode of AP and bridge.

AP6010DN-AGN and AP6010SN-GN support two working modes Fat AP and Fit AP, and can flexibly switch between Fat AP and Fit AP according to the needs of network planning.

When the initial scale of the customer's wireless network is small, the customer only needs to purchase AP equipment and set its working mode to Fat AP mode. With the continuous expansion of the customer's network scale, when the number of AP devices applied in the network reaches tens or even hundreds, in order to reduce the complexity of network management, it is recommended that the customer purchase wireless controller devices to facilitate centralized management of all AP devices in the network. At this time, it is necessary to switch its AP working mode to Fit AP mode.

Fit AP typical networking diagram (access point mode)

In the above networking, the device, as a Fit AP, only carries the bridging and forwarding function. User access, AP online, authentication, routing, AP management, security protocol, QoS and other functions need to be completed in cooperation with the AC.

Fit AP WDS typical networking diagram (bridge mode - point-to-point)

Fit AP WDS typical networking diagram (bridge mode - point to multipoint)

In the above networking, the equipment connects two or more independent wired LANs or wireless LANs through wireless links to form an interworking network to achieve data access. The WDS mode can support point-to-point and point to multipoint networking. Through 5G and 2.4G dual RF, the AP can realize business applications such as wireless bridge and access.

Fit AP Mesh typical networking diagram

In the above networking, the AP as the mesh node MP (Mesh Point) forms a self configuring and self-healing wireless mesh network WMN (Wireless Mesh Network) backbone through mesh interconnection, and provides the connection to the Internet through the AP with gateway function as the mesh portal node MPP (Mesh Portal Point). The terminal node can access the WMN network through the access service of the AP. Due to the existence of a dedicated Mesh routing protocol, its transmission quality can be better guaranteed, and it is more suitable for scenarios requiring high bandwidth and high stability Internet connections.

Typical networking diagram of Fat AP

In the above networking, the device, as a Fat AP, independently completes user access, authentication, data security, service forwarding, QoS and other functions.
