Introduction to Dunhuang Research Journal
Dunhuang Research is a bimonthly academic journal of Dunhuang Studies sponsored by Dunhuang Research Institute. Based in Dunhuang and facing the world, Dunhuang Studies aims to promote the development of Dunhuang studies worldwide. It mainly publishes papers, academic reports, research materials and research information in various fields of Dunhuang Studies and ancient religion, history, art and other disciplines related to Dunhuang Studies.
Column Setup of Dunhuang Research Journal

Instructions for contributions to Dunhuang Research Magazine
1. Manuscripts generally do not exceed 15000 words. All characters shall be simplified in accordance with the current standard. If traditional, variant or folk characters are required for research, please mark them clearly. If special characters are required, please use another paper to describe them.
2. Please attach a "content summary" of less than 200 words and 3-5 keywords. It is better to provide an English summary at the same time.
3. Please check the quotation accurately. Footnotes shall be used for notes of supplementary instructions; Citation sources and references are all annotated at the end of the article. The author, title, place of publication, publisher and year of publication of the book are detailed; The author, article title, journal name, year and issue of the journal are detailed; Newspaper details the author, article title, newspaper name, date and edition.
4. For the papers belonging to the project funded by the project, please indicate the name and number of the project.
5. A copy of the original shall be provided for the foreign translation for verification. At the same time, there must be a letter of authorization approved by the original author to be translated into Chinese and published in our journal, and the detailed mailing address, work unit, professional title, position, etc. of the original author must be provided.
6. The draftsman and photographer must be indicated in the drawing and photo data. If they are quoted from other books and periodicals, they must be indicated.
7. The land or collection unit and era shall be indicated in the cultural relics data, and the name shall be accurate.
8. For book review, a copy of the original work reviewed shall be provided for checking.
9. All papers published in this journal are attached with the author's profile. Please indicate the author's birth year, gender, native place, work unit, position, degree and research direction when submitting the paper.
10. Indicate the author's detailed mailing address, postal code, telephone number and e-mail for easy contact.
11. When submitting by email, another copy of the proofread manuscript should be sent through the post office. It is better to send a computer copy floppy disk at the same time.
12. This journal respects the author's academic views, but according to the needs of editing and publishing, it needs to delete or modify the original composition. Those who are unwilling to delete or modify the original composition should make a statement in advance.
