Guangxi Plants is a comprehensive academic journal (journal level) of botany published publicly at home and abroad, which mainly reports innovative and significant original research achievements in basic research and applied research of botany disciplines and branches, as well as new techniques and methods of botany research; In combination with my research work, short reviews reflecting the latest international research level are not acceptable.

Founded in 1981, this journal is an earlier professional academic journal of botany, and is publicly distributed at home and abroad. It has become one of the main academic journals of plant science research, the core of Chinese natural science, and the commonly used journal of life science in China. It mainly publishes innovative and high-level research papers in Chinese and English in botany and related disciplines, as well as new methods, new technologies, and new achievements with significant application value in botany, and reviews of the latest research progress at home and abroad in important fields of the discipline.

Notice for contribution of Guangxi Botanical Journal

1. This journal is a national professional academic journal of botany published publicly at home and abroad. It has become one of the main academic journals for publishing papers on plant science research in China. It is a core journal of biological science and technology in China and a core journal of natural science in China. This journal reports original research papers and bulletins with innovative level in various branches of botany; New discoveries in the field of botany and new achievements with great application value; A short review reflecting the latest international research level based on my research work.

2. The writing order of research papers (including research briefs): title (within 20 Chinese characters), author's name (within 6 people), author's unit, location and postal code, abstract (brief description of research purpose, methods, results and main conclusions, within 300 words), keywords (3-8 words), corresponding English, text, thanks, references Description of the plate in Chinese and English.

3. The manuscript requires clear argument, reliable argument, accurate data, concise and clear meaning, and prominent focus. Research papers (including charts and documents) shall have no more than 8 printed pages, and briefings and bulletins shall have no more than 3 printed pages. Make sure to clear and finalize the draft (including all kinds of symbols and foreign letters in large and small letters, positive and italics, Greek letters or Latin letters; the position of the upper and lower corner marks must be clearly distinguished; for foreign languages that need to be typed in italics, please draw a horizontal line below the words, and a ripple of lines in bold; when foreign letters and symbols that are easily confused in the draft appear for the first time, please use a pencil to indicate them beside the manuscript paper), Use a computer to print. Those who do not meet the requirements of the Instructions for Submission shall be returned to the author for revision first, and can only be accepted and submitted for review if they reach "Qi, Qing and Ding".

4. The unit of measurement in the text shall be the Legal Unit of Measurement of the People's Republic of China. For example, length unit: km (kilometer, kilometer), m (meter), dm (decimeter), cm (centimeter); Time unit: a (year), d (day), h (hour), min (minute), s (second); Mass unit: t (ton), kg (kg, kg), g (g), mg (mg), and the market weight unit is abolished; Area unit: hm2 (hectare), m2 (square meter), dm χ 2 (square decimeter), cm χ 2 (square centimeter), abolishing the city mu unit; Volume unit: m3, L, mL; Concentration unit: mol/L, mg/L, kg/L, ppm, pphm, ppb units are abolished.

5. Only necessary charts are attached to the text, and the text in the chart shall be consistent with the text. Please use 16cm × 20.5cm plate center for collage or drawing of plate photos. All words and figures in the picture shall be printed or marked on the outside of the picture by computer. The photos shall be clear and well arranged. Illustrations in the text must be drawn in ink with tracing paper. The ink lines should be black and the lines should be even. In the text, the position should be marked with a box. Under the box, the title and caption of the figure should be marked consistent with both Chinese and English. The illustrations are attached separately.

6. References: those directly quoted must be listed, not numbered, and unpublished materials shall not be included (excluding dissertations). [J], [M], [C] are added after the title of the literature according to the journal, book, and collection of papers, and [A] can be used to separate the literature. The author shall be responsible for the accuracy of the cited literature. The literature description is based on the "author publication year" system. Namely, the author and year are written in parentheses at the quotation of the text, and the English author only writes the name and year. For example: (Wu Zhengyi, 1979), (Tsou, 1997); For documents with multiple authors, only the first author shall be written, followed by "etc.". For example: (Wang Wencai et al., 1990), (Smith et al., 1981). When citing multiple articles published by the same author in the same year, use small letters a, b, c, etc. to distinguish them after the year of publication. In the reference list, the documents are listed in Chinese, Japanese and English. In Chinese, the order is the strokes of the author's surname, and in English, the order is the letters of the author's name (including the author's literature listed in Chinese phonetic alphabet). All descriptions with less than 3 authors, and only 3 with more than 3 authors, followed by "equivalent" or "material".

7. If new taxa of plants are published, type (homotype or paratype) specimens of new taxa shall be attached to the manuscript for review.

8. Be responsible for your contributions. There are no leaks, no wrong signatures, no official publication in any language, and no two submissions for one manuscript. Otherwise, the author shall bear all the responsibilities and compensate for the losses of the journal.

9. The accepted manuscript of this journal shall be provided with the revised and finalized WORD document (doc), WPS document (wps) or "Peking University Founder" typesetting document, and 2 clear samples shall be attached. (If there are illustrations in the manuscript, please provide the computer files (bmp, jpg, tif) of the illustrations. The resolution of the line map should not be less than 300 lines, the photo map (excluding the plate) should not be less than 600 lines, and the coordinate map should be drawn by Excel and other software (xls), and send them to the editorial department by floppy disk or E-mail.

10. After receiving the incoming manuscript, notify the author of the handling of the manuscript within 6 months (after revision, finalize the manuscript and keep the manuscript for verification). A notice of publication and fees will be sent to the first author when the manuscript is decided to be employed. The editorial department can make necessary changes in the text of the accepted manuscript. After the manuscript is printed, the first proof sample will be sent to the author for careful proofreading. Except for errors in entry, the article cannot be changed significantly and will be sent back to the proof sample as soon as possible. As soon as the manuscript is published, it will be paid, and the first author will be given 2 sample journals. Manuscripts will not be returned. Please keep your own copy.

11. For the papers published in this journal, if they have won the provincial or ministerial achievement award or excellent paper award, please inform this department in time and provide a copy of the award certificate; Please indicate the full name and approval number of the funding unit in the footnote on the first page of the article for the provincial and ministerial level or above funded projects. This journal has priority in publishing such articles.

12. The manuscript is in duplicate (1 original and 1 copy). Please send it by registered mail to the editorial department of Guangxi Plants at Yanshan, Guilin, Guangxi 541006. The personal profile of the first author (including name, gender, birth year, native place, nationality, degree, professional title, professional work or research direction, etc.) and the certification letter of the author's organization must be attached. The detailed mailing address, postal code, E-mail and telephone number of the contact person must also be indicated.

13. Both Chinese and English manuscripts are popular. The English version shall be grammatically correct, spell correctly, and conform to English expression habits. The writing order of the English version is the same as that of the Chinese version, but the Chinese title, author and unit signature, Chinese abstract and keywords must be attached.
