Epidemic situation of notifiable infectious diseases in the province
Legal infectious diseases reported
49287 cases of 24 kinds
May 2024 (from 0:00 on May 1, 2024 to 24:00 on May 31, 2024), A total of 49287 cases of 24 kinds of notifiable infectious diseases were reported in the province.
There is no report on the incidence and death of Class A infectious diseases.
Among Class B infectious diseases, there were no reports of morbidity or death of 11 diseases, including infectious atypical pneumonia, poliomyelitis, highly pathogenic avian influenza, anthrax, diphtheria, neonatal tetanus, leptospirosis, schistosomiasis, H7N9 avian influenza, encephalitis B and monkeypox, A total of 27142 cases of other 17 kinds of Class B infectious diseases were reported, and 63 cases died. Viral hepatitis, whooping cough, syphilis, tuberculosis and new coronavirus infection ranked the top five diseases reported, accounting for 96.63% of the total reported incidence of Class B infectious diseases.
In Class C infectious diseases, except for leprosy, leishmaniasis, filariasis, and echinococcosis, there were no reports of morbidity or mortality, a total of 22145 cases of 7 kinds of infectious diseases were reported, and no death cases were reported. The top three diseases reported were other infectious diarrhea, influenza and hand foot mouth disease, accounting for 95.25% of the total reported cases of Class C infectious diseases.
In June, with the increase of temperature, the growth and reproduction of bacteria, viruses, mosquitoes, etc. accelerate, and the risk of intestinal infectious diseases and insect borne infectious diseases increases. Anhui Provincial Health Commission hereby kindly reminds the general public to pay attention to the prevention of whooping cough, fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome, hand foot mouth disease, chicken pox and bacterial intestinal infectious diseases.

1. The number of cases and deaths of viral hepatitis is the total number of reported cases and deaths of hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, hepatitis D, hepatitis E, and undifferentiated hepatitis, respectively.
2. The death data reported through the infectious disease network direct reporting system is not the basis for ranking the causes of death of infectious diseases in our province.
3. The figures are from the "China Disease Control and Prevention Information System", which is calculated according to the rules of "current address" and "audit date", excluding "Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan" and "foreigners".
