The following article comes from the original title "From 62 to 78, One Year's Learning Plan for Postgraduate Entrance Examination English →"
preface
The earlier English is, the better. You must start to recite words at the beginning, and recite them every day. Don't be lazy!
Only do the real questions, and understand the real questions thoroughly. Use your brain to think and constantly reflect and summarize: why choose this, why not choose this, and why the author chose this.
If you have time to do real questions for 00/05-24 years, if you don't have time, you can do real questions for 10-24/recent ten years. It is better to train real questions for more than 10 years.
Personal information
Low score of CET-6 drifted by. I didn't write much composition after the college entrance examination, and my writing was a little poor
First battle: 66 (10 points will be deducted for multiple choice questions, and the translation of composition will suffer)
World War II: 62 (about 12 points will be deducted for multiple choice questions, the translation feels improved, and the composition is not given much)
Three wars: 78 (about 10 points will be deducted for multiple choice questions. This year, I found a way to write, and I can also change the type of questions)
No.1 Recite words
time
It was decided that the postgraduate entrance examination would begin, and it would not be disturbed to recite every day.
method
I have been using ink and ink 400 times a day, and then added 200 scallop words to review other words (such as phrases/compositions). It must be a little hard at the beginning. It may take two hours to recite words at the beginning of each year. Later, it will be faster and faster. It will end in half an hour. (It can be based on your own situation, but it is better not to have less than 200, because memory is repetition and repetition. You can really remember it after many times!)
In the first year, I copied the red treasure book by hand, and wrote it every day. I felt that my efficiency was very low. Because most words are used for reading, as long as you can recognize them, it is more appropriate for the software to recite words. You can turn off the voice and only use your eyes to recognize them. After all, you don't need to take the listening test (this is really for the purpose of taking the exam. If you want to take the IELTS test, you'd better turn on the voice).
When I use ink and ink to recite, I choose directly that I don't know, or that I am familiar with words and obscure meanings. Every day, I memorize the word quota. I flushed 50 words and found that as long as I didn't stop clocking in, more and more words would be given. There is still 7000+words left.
The word book includes but is not limited to: outline+phrase+red treasure book+various word books that you think are good. Another advantage of Mo Mo is that the words before the word changing book will be saved and automatically recommended according to the memory curve.
If you are really used to carrying words on paper without using your mobile phone, there is a way to carry words on A4 paper, which is also OK. You can search the whole network. (However, mobile phone software is recommended.)
No.2 Reading
time
Decide that you can start to do real questions after taking the postgraduate entrance examination. It's enough to only do real reading!
method
At the end of the summer vacation, I learned the type of questions - often wrong choices - doing questions+correct answers+hand translation sentence by sentence (I bought a hand translation, and I translated directly in my mind on the test paper before, marking the unknown, and found that the effect of hand translation was not good, and my mind would skip some unsmooth translations)
Second brush from September to November (2-4 articles a day): question making+right answer+summary method (why is it right, why is it wrong, why is this question set, why choose it, why not choose it)
From November to December, I have been reading for nearly ten years, leaving three years of real questions, which can be simulated on Saturday and Sunday. It is also best to hand translate and reflect on the resumption of the mock exam. If it is too late, do not translate sentence by sentence, but ensure that there are no new words.
I didn't listen to any teacher's lessons, and I always felt that it was a waste of time. In the first year, in addition to the real topic, I also did intensive reading of foreign journals, and I felt that the effect was not very obvious. The next year I signed up for the whole course of scallops, and found that only the reading method was useful. Maybe the reading class of Tang Chi that everyone pushed hard is the same. While other individuals' various learning findings are also very perfunctory, just allowing you to clock in doesn't matter.
In the third year, English has made a qualitative leap. There are three reasons for the resumption: 1. English reading is sentence by sentence hand translation, which has not been done before. Later, it was found that it was really useful and helpful for translation; 2. Start to reflect, analyze item by item, find out the routine, and summarize some reading methods. If necessary, I can share my reading methods and notes later; 3. The composition started early, because others have always said that it would be OK to be late. But for me, who has few opportunities to write, starting writing early can avoid some spelling mistakes, and can also form their own template, and finally I will not feel that I am prepared in a hurry.
No.3 Cloze filling
time
I painted it with reading
method
At the end of the summer vacation: understand the type of questions - often wrong choices - do the questions+check the answers+check the unknown words/phrases sentence by sentence
Second brush from September to November (1 article in 1-2 days): question making+answer matching+summary method (whether there is context correspondence, whether there is synonymous replacement, which phrases are often tested, which ones are not often selected, and those with fixed collocation are often tested...)
From November to December, we will draw the real questions for nearly ten years, leave the real questions for three years, and take a mock exam on Saturday and Sunday. It is also better to translate sentence by sentence+reflect on the resumption of the mock exam. If it is too late, do not translate sentence by sentence, but ensure that there are no new words.
2005, 2006 and 2008 are worth the second time! (No tangle on 02-04 and 07)
Method of doing exercises
Find the main sentence (usually the first sentence without empty space; or the second sentence/paragraph of the transition)
Select the head word (subject word+determiner: degree of modification/action)
Pay attention to the logic between sentences and between paragraphs
Find the logical subject of the space, that is, the/context of what is modified
You can do logic first
Up and down consistent method (finding consistent structure)
Before and after comparison
Literal translation method
General: ask questions - analyze problems - solve problems
If you are really not sure, you have to choose the other one
You can choose all three words with the same meaning, but you can choose none
Believe in the first intuition of language sense
The four options have the same part of speech. If you are not sure, you can use the confirmation word to deduce
If you have the opposite option, be careful. It may be one of them
There are also some detailed precautions. I will sort them out later if necessary
No.4 Translation
time
Starting from September to October
method
Be sure to read the first sentence/paragraph and know what it is about. This is really something you can guess.
Question: sentence breaking - translation to words (content words must have corresponding) - word order adjustment - addition or deletion - check whether there are missing words and read sentences to see whether they are smooth
True question+manual translation is actually enough. You can look at Tian Jing's translation, or directly look at notes/materials to learn some translation methods.
No.5 Composition
time
In fact, we can practice first in October, and only practice the real questions. Later, we have our own writing template, and we can practice each other's bet
method
One or two real questions a week in October at the latest, write by yourself+read model articles+modify and optimize
In November, we will start to form our own template. When training real questions again, we must write+modify according to the template
In December, write a pledge with a template
Possible correction software/public account/applet: Microsoft loves writing, Eurodictionary, scallops also have correction
Chat GPT can be used if conditions permit
You can also modify the composition template according to your own preferences, and you must not be too homogenized.
Scallop Postgraduate Examination APP, highly recommended! True question+translation+memorizing words
English is to brush more real questions, understand the real questions, and be down-to-earth a little bit more and more confident!
Step by step, we will surely go ashore this year!
