This statistical result clearly shows how difficult Tesla is to compete in the Chinese market.
According to the Wall Street Journal, a major US business daily, it has become increasingly difficult for foreign brands such as Tesla to maintain sustainable competition in the Chinese market over time.
Stephen Dell, automotive consultant of global consulting firm Alix Partners, said in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, "According to statistics, 123 Chinese enterprises sold at least one electric vehicle in the domestic market of China last year."
In other words, regardless of the sales volume, Tesla competes with as many as 123 Chinese enterprises in the Chinese market.
In this regard, Business Insider, a science and technology media, pointed out: "Last year, there were 65 automobile enterprises carrying out sales activities in the United States, including all automobile entrepreneurs, including electric vehicle manufacturers.
