The 126 page report disclosed Geely's progress in the six key strategic areas of compliance and business ethics, climate action, resource protection, transportation, value chain responsibility, employees and communities in 2023.
According to the previously set goals, Geely will achieve carbon neutrality at the operational level by 2030 and achieve full link carbon neutrality by 2045. Compared with the reference year 2020 and 2023, the carbon emissions of Geely's single vehicle in the whole life cycle will be reduced by 12%, the average carbon emissions of the use end will be reduced by 16.2%, and the carbon emissions of the manufacturing end will be reduced by 53.7%.

At present, Geely has synchronously explored pure electricity, hybrid, plug-in/extended range, green methanol, power exchange, etc element The new energy technology path has been integrated, and the overall goal of achieving carbon neutrality in the whole link by 2045 has been formulated.
Under the overall goal, Geely has also made clear its short-term, medium-term, medium and long-term plans, that is, to reduce the carbon emissions of a single passenger vehicle throughout its life cycle by 25% by 2025, to achieve carbon neutrality at the operational level of the whole group by 2030, and to achieve zero carbon readiness at the operational level by 2040. Among them, zero carbon readiness means that although zero emissions have not been achieved, the conditions for achieving zero emissions have been met.
At the national level, China's "dual carbon" goal is to strive to achieve carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. In other words, Geely is 15 years ahead of the national carbon neutral target.

Geely also integrates new materials and technologies into the whole value chain of the vehicle life cycle to achieve low-carbon and recycling. As a responsible automobile enterprise group, Geely believes that sustainable development is not an optional question, but a must answer. Under the national "double carbon" goal, the implementation of sustainable development strategy can promote the integration of ecological benefits, economic benefits and social benefits.
