The latest documentary of BBC tells how the power of the earth has changed the history of mankind. It premiered on January 19, 2010, with five episodes: 'Water', 'Deep Earth', 'Wind', 'Fire', 'Human Planet'. In the program, Professor Iain Stewart led the audience to explore how geology, geography and climate have influenced human life over the centuries.

Our planet has amazing power, but it is seldom mentioned in textbooks. This series of programs is the first time to show the impact of the magic power of the earth on human development through television. The program closely combines the telling of historical stories with dazzling photographic lenses to present us an authentic picture of human history.
