If you forget the lock screen password and cannot unlock it, please try the following method:
1. Confirm whether the password has been changed: The lock screen password of the phone may have been changed by someone else. It is recommended that you confirm whether the password has been changed by someone around you.
2. Confirm whether the privacy space is used: If the password types set by your main user and the privacy space are different, the corresponding password type will be displayed on the lock screen from which interface. Please enter the corresponding password to try to enter the system.
3. Please confirm whether multi-user is enabled: if your lock screen interface is a sub user interface, it cannot be unlocked by using the main user password. It is recommended that you switch to the main user and try to unlock it. Switching method: click multi-user avatar switching.
4. Restore factory settings: If you confirm that you have forgotten your phone password and need to unlock it, we can help you forcibly restore your phone to factory settings. However, the data in the phone will also be cleared and cannot be recovered, so it is recommended that you recall the password that may be set.
Operation method:
a. When the phone is turned off (no USB cable is plugged in), press and hold the power key and volume up key for about 15 seconds or release the power key and volume up key when the Recovery interface appears.
Reminder:
EMUI10. X&MagicUI3. X: In the power off state, press and hold the power key for about 5 seconds, and then the power on vibration occurs. Then press and hold the power key and the volume up key for about 2 seconds, and release them. After the black screen for about 10 seconds, the recovery mode will enter.
The Mate30RS and Mate30Pro have no physical volume keys. After the phone is powered on and vibrated, press the power key for five consecutive times to enter the Recovery mode.
If you cannot enter the Recovery mode through this method, the device is connected to the network and the function of finding mobile phones is enabled.
b. Select by moving the volume key up and down or operate by clicking the touch screen (some products do not support the Recovery touch screen operation):
Clear Data>Restore Factory Settings>Enter "yes" to confirm the restoration of factory settings. After the factory settings are restored, the phone will stay in the Recovery interface. Please restart the device.
