The management discipline of Xiamen University has a long history. As early as 1921, when Xiamen University was founded, the Business Department was established. After hundreds of years of vicissitudes, Xiamen University School of Management has always adhered to the patriotic spirit of its president, Mr. Chen Jiageng, and the motto of "self-improvement and excellence". Now it has developed into one of the top ten most competitive business schools in China. The first level discipline of business administration of Xiamen University ranked fifth in the third round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education in 2013, and was rated as Class A discipline in the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education in 2017. In 2019, Xiamen University's economics and business entered the top 1% of the global ESI. The School of Management of Xiamen University is one of the 1% business schools in the world that have obtained three international certifications: EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.

I Recruitment target

The School of Management of Xiamen University is looking for talents at home and abroad. It is now recruiting professors, associate professors and assistant professors in 2022 in the fields of accounting and auditing, enterprise management (including strategic management, human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship, etc.), management science and engineering, finance and capital market, tourism and hotel management, and marketing.

II Posts and conditions for recruitment

The applicant shall have good ideological and political quality, moral character and style of study, be physically and mentally healthy, be able to work full-time in school, and meet the following conditions:

(I) Nanqiang Youth Top Talent Support Plan A Class talents

1. Have a doctor's degree; The age is generally no more than 43 years old.

2. Generally, it should be national high-level young talents and young talents with equivalent level.

(2) Nanqiang Youth Top Talent Support Plan B Class talents

1. Have a doctor's degree; The age is generally no more than 38 years old.

2. Have abundant scientific research achievements and excellent teaching ability, make an appearance in its academic field, and become the top talent among its peers. The teaching and scientific research achievements meet the requirements for professors in various disciplines of the school, and have the strength to be selected as Class A talents in the South China Top Youth Talent Support Plan during the support period.

(3) Associate professor, assistant professor

The newly introduced assistant professors and associate professors are subject to the quasi appointment system.

1. Have a doctor's degree; The candidate for the position of associate professor shall not be more than 40 years old, and the candidate for the position of assistant professor shall not be more than 35 years old.

2. Meet the needs of discipline development, have excellent scientific research ability and excellent teaching ability, and have distinctive academic research direction; Comply with the requirements of the Regulations on the Appointment of Teachers in Xiamen University (Xiamen University [2017] No. 143 document) and the implementation rules for the performance appraisal and evaluation of full-time teachers in schools and colleges.

3、 Supporting measures

1. Enjoy the corresponding salary of Xiamen University according to the position.

2. According to the position of employment, they will enjoy the corresponding subsidies for settling down and renting houses. Those who meet the relevant regulations of Xiamen can also apply for the living allowance for newly introduced talents in Xiamen.

3. You can apply for renting the on campus circulating housing (not more than 4 years) according to the housing source, and you can also apply for purchasing Xiamen talent housing according to the evaluation and identification standards of Xiamen high-level talents and relevant work notices.

The candidates who are included in the support plan for the school's top young talents in South China will enjoy the relevant support of the school according to the regulations. Those who meet the requirements of the Measures for the Implementation of the "Qunxian Plan" of the School of Management of Xiamen University can also apply for the corresponding positions of the "Qunxian Plan" of the School of Management of Xiamen University. The College will provide additional talent performance for the corresponding positions on the basis of the school's salary.

IV Recruitment procedures

1. For global open recruitment, the position employment will be updated according to the progress of recruitment.

2. The college and university will review and contact with each other according to the relevant working procedures of talent introduction and teacher employment.

V Application Method

one Nanqiang Top-notch Young Talents Program-A Level Talent

(1) The candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in relevant field and be under the age of 43 (subject to change for exceptional talents);

(2) The candidate should be recognized as a high-level young talent in a national talent program or equivalent programs.

two Nanqiang Top-notch Young Talents Program-B Level Talent

(1) The candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in relevant field and be under the age of 38 (subject to change for exceptional talents);

(2) The candidate should have an outstanding track record of high-quality research and teaching, and have demonstrated excellent academic leadership. The candidate should have the potential to be selected as a A-level Talent in the Nanqiang Young Top-notch Talents Program during his/her term of appointment.

3. Positions for Associate Professors and Assistant Professors (Tenure Track)

(1)The candidate should hold a Ph.D. degree in relevant field. For candidates who are expected to have a Ph.D. degree (related documents should be provided to prove eligibility);

(2)Candidates for associate professor positions should be under the age of 40; candidates for assistant professor positions should be under the age of 35;

(3) Candidates should possess the expertise of the corresponding positions, as well as other basic recruitment qualifications required by Xiamen University.

Remuneration and Benefits

1. The candidate is entitled to the corresponding salary according to the position he/she is appointed.

2. Enjoy the corresponding housing and rental subsidies. Candidates who meet the requirements of Xiamen City, can also apply for living allowances offered by the city to new high-level talents.
