On September 20, I was invited to Luofeng and slept in a tent for the first time in my life. If I remember correctly, it was also the first time to see the sunrise in my life.
Luofeng is the highest peak of Luozi Mountain and Chenxi County, with an altitude of 1378.7m. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, the son of Luo Gongyuan, the famous Taoist priest of Wuxi, once built a path here and read sutras, so it is also called Luogong Mountain. According to the "Jiaqing Unification Annals", "There is a spring at the top of the hundred and twenty miles east of the county, standing in line to pray for rain. Xupu, Qianyang and Chenxi can all look down. It is said that the son of Luo Gongyuan practices Taoism here, hence the name".
It is about 94 kilometers from Chenxi County to Luozi Mountain, but it takes about 3 hours to get there because most of the time we travel in the mountains. You can navigate to the foot of Luofeng Mountain, and then continue to climb up the road for a while. However, it was difficult to climb the last 20 meters, and the road was steep and slippery, so my CS55 successfully climbed to the top with the intervention of ABS. My friend's manual transaxle car climbed onto the tire without smoking, and finally stopped on a side road. In my opinion, his car can climb here very well.
There is a Luofeng Temple on the top of Luofeng, which was visited seven or eight years ago. I vaguely remember that it is a very shabby little temple with only weeds on the top. Now the temple has been renovated and expanded, and a viewing platform has been built on the top of the mountain. Behind the temple, there is still a project of Sky Land under construction.
Everyone camped on the viewing platform to make a fire and cook. I watched the stars and the moon at night, but the sky was not as clear as I thought. The starry sky I remember when I was a child is really hard to see now. Maybe I can only go to places like Tibet. In the morning, the sun rose in everyone's waiting. It was a good trip, and we finished work and went home.
Although I basically played soy sauce on this trip, I didn't help much, but I still felt that camping was too troublesome. My relatives came to see me camping and bought a tent, ready to make an appointment
