The first problem encountered in installing WordPress is the following error: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at D: webcitswwwwrootwap-config. php: 1) in D: webcitswwwwrootwap-login.php on line 290.

The first time I installed version 2.8.3, I was lucky to change the wp-config.php file, but the error disappeared. After upgrading to version 2.8.4, the changes were not good. Goole found that someone mentioned the file encoding format. Try to change the original UTF-8 code to ANSI code. After saving and uploading, the problem is solved! However, some people have said that the ANSI format does not support double bytes well, resulting in garbled code. But I haven't found any problems for the time being. Let's use it for the time being.

Personally, I think wp-config.php is a database configuration file that doesn't use any Chinese, and ANSI coding should not cause any problems. In a word, if something goes wrong, try to solve it.

In fact, there were several wp-config.php errors in the subsequent use and upgrade, indicating that the ANSI encoding format is still problematic! The correct encoding format should be utf-8 (without BOM), which requires some professional text editing tools, such as EmEditor. In fact, the simplest way is to replace the Chinese version with the English version of wp-config.php. But if the database account and password have Chinese characters, this method is meaningless. Fortunately, in theory, these places will not use Chinese, so friends who are afraid of trouble can try the English version of wp-config.php.
