Source Title: Did a bridge collapse on Beijing Harbin Expressway? Official refutation: the road network is unblocked!

On May 17, some We Media accounts released "the collapse of a bridge in Liaozhong section of Beijing Harbin Expressway" and other content on the social platform. At 17:00 on the same day, the reporter learned from Liaoning Expressway Operation Company of Liaoning Communications Investment Group that the content of this section is not true. At present, the road network of this section is unblocked.

It is reported that in the afternoon of May 16, Shenyang Branch of Liaoning Communications Investment Expressway Operation Co., Ltd. and relevant departments found during routine inspection that the emergency lane on the deck of Liaozhong Bridge (Shenyang direction) of Beijing Harbin Expressway was damaged, without casualties and vehicle damage. Shenyang Branch cooperated with local traffic police to immediately intercept the main line and carry out investigation. After on-site investigation by professional team and consultation with local traffic police, traffic control measures were taken to temporarily close the third lane and emergency lane of the bridge.

At 17:55 on May 16, the first and second lanes of the bridge resumed normal traffic, with a speed limit of 60 km/h. The damaged location was under repair.

The high-speed operation company reminds the majority of road users to slow down when driving to this section.
