On March 30, 2012, Shenzhen Denza New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., a 50:50 joint venture between BYD Automobile Co., Ltd. and Daimler, officially released its new automobile brand Denza, which is called DENZA in English. At the same time, the brand slogan "EV the Future" was officially released. This brand new brand is the first domestic automobile brand focusing on new energy. The first model of the new brand will be officially unveiled at Beijing Auto Show and will be launched in 2013.
