After the addition of trains, the average running interval between Jiahe Wanggang Station and Dongfeng Station will be reduced by about 40 seconds in the morning and evening peak hours of working days, and the overall transport capacity will be increased by about 10%.

According to the data of the first quarter of this year, the peak passenger flow of the section from Jiahe Wanggang Station to Dongfeng Station of Line 14 continues to rise. The reporter learned that the new version of the working day running chart is also divided into "Monday to Thursday" and "Friday". After the adjustment, the driving interval in the morning and evening peak hours on weekdays will be reduced by about 40 seconds, and the overall transport capacity will be increased by about 10%. Short term super peak is also set in the morning peak of the above two periods. During this period, the average driving interval from Xia Liang to Jiahe Wanggang will be reduced to about 4 minutes and 45 seconds; On the Friday evening, because of the concentration of off duty passenger flow, a short-term super peak was added, and the average driving interval from Jiahe Wanggang to the east wind direction will be reduced to about 4 minutes and 40 seconds.

Guangzhou Metro said that the two new cars on the line this time were all new cars in Phase II of Line 14, and the train parameters and design appearance were consistent with those in Phase I, using six car formation (four motor cars and two trailers) B-type cars, with a maximum running speed of 120 km/h.

It is worth noting that the arrival and departure time of the fast and regular trains in the section from Jiahe Wanggang Station to Dongfeng Station of Line 14 on weekdays will change according to the line operation organization, and the driving arrangement on Saturday and Sunday will remain unchanged. At the same time, in order to match the transfer passenger flow connection after schedule adjustment, the corresponding train schedule will be adjusted synchronously from Zhenlong Station to Xinhe Station of Line 14 from May 22.
