A calligraphy and painting exhibition for the disabled

Yangcheng Evening News reporter Liu Zhuonan reported that in order to welcome the 34th National Handicap Day, the 13th Guangzhou Handicapped Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and Arts and Crafts Exhibition opened in the Youth Palace of Huangpu District, Guangzhou.

With the theme of "holding up the artistic dream of the disabled", this exhibition has 120 works in total, including 60 paintings and calligraphy works and 60 craft works, which will last until May 28. The types of exhibits include print, oil painting, Chinese painting, watercolor, calligraphy, wide color, paper cutting, grass painting, tie dyeing, glass, metal, fiber, jewelry, embroidery, textile, knitting, sculpture and other types of calligraphy and painting works and arts and crafts works.

It is reported that the Guangzhou Handicapped Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition has been held for 13 years since its inception in 2011. It has become the most influential exhibition with the widest participation scope, the most types of works and the most influential exhibition for the disabled in Guangzhou, providing an important carrier and window for the high-quality development of the art of the disabled in Guangzhou.
